This is a known issue with that zone. Leaving the zone after speaking with Alric is currently causing the quest object to fail to reappear. We’re currently tracking this issue on our end.

Is this a case of the extra +1 not appearing visually? We’re tracking a known issue of +X to Skills not visually showing that you can allot more points to a skill but the functionality of it should be present.
