Can you reproduce this by just tapping hammer throw’s ability button on your action bar in a safe area?
We currently have a bug where there is some slight desync if players holding down an ability on their action bar and pressing LMB. I want to confirm it’s not related to this problem.

Can you give us more information or a video of taking the node and spamming abilities?
Players being unable to get into Online is a separate issue we’re tracking currently. The client crashes appear to potentially be a separate issue. Hopefully once the connection issues clear up the crashing issue will be easier to spot.
We’re actually tracking this issue internally at the moment. We’re hoping to get another pass on Controller QoL changes in some time soon and this is one of the things on that list.
Are you just unable to load into the game or are they consistent client crashes?

Temporary Connection Issue - Reverting Changes

We have mitigated the issues impacting our server capacity and matchmaking, which were preventing players from joining new servers. There are still login queues in some regions, but these queues are now being processed correctly and you should be able to allocate servers.
While these systems are not at the quality we want them to be we are happy to report that more and more players joining one another in Eterra for the first time
Yeah, as Llama has said, this is an issue with the skill not preventing activation if the incorrect weapon type is equipped. It doesn’t actually activate but a visual does occur and it looks wonky. Still a bug but the skill does function correctly (to my knowledge) if you are wielding the correct weapon type.

Currently, indications we’ve had are this occurs relatively rarely (we had it happen twice in the full campaign playthrough we did while verifying the release candidate build earlier this week). I am curious if anyone is experiencing this more frequently than that?
