When the forum embeds another post, related by the reply functionality, into another post it fails to ensure that the embedded post has text in the correct colour.

Hi Tikhilszeh,

I understand you’re rebooting the computer, but could you give a detailed description of what happens prior to you doing so? Is the system freezing, is the computer turning itself off, etc.

It would also be very helpful to know whether this is on Windows, Linux, or a Mac and if you’re currently playing using a desktop or a laptop. Sorry for having so many questions!

Future Strikes don’t benefit from added damage, only from Increased Damage or Increased Void Damage. I did test the Void Blades and Void Bolts nodes on a fresh character and didn’t see the behavior you described.

If you have any conditional effects that grant Increased Damage or Increased Void Damage that could cause it, but the flat damage nodes are working as intended.

Thanks! I see an error logged regarding the intro video that makes me think the data may be corrupted. Can you try to repair the game through steam?

To add to that, anyone should feel free to make a post with sounds you think need improving (in a thread other than this one). As Mike said we’re working through all the old sounds, but it’s always helpful to have community input for which need work the most.

This should be much easier to complete as of 0.7.8d-- not all of the Giant Crabs were set up to count for the quest objective in earlier patches. Thanks!

We get a significant number of reports of 93% fracturing. We aren’t sure what’s causing it yet but I suspect that it has something to do with the use of glyphs. It’s on my todo list to investigate.

So, this is probably actually my fault. Sometimes a skill gets added without the SFX being set properly. We’ve got an awesome sound designer that is working his way through all the old sounds and making new ones too. There are a few sounds that are remnants of the past. I’ve linked this thread to him and we’ll take a peek at those.

Edit: just got word from him that they should be better for the next patch. It’s just that easy folks.

When you’re changing zones, the distance that those zones are apart has no impact on anything. Not to burst the bubble but as far as the game is concerned all zones are the same distance from all other zones.

The next time a crash happens, without restarting the game, could you get a new log file and send that in? (You can start it up again after that, I just need to see if it’s giving any logs right after the crash)
