There's other examples, too, like any skillshot missile. I was just using the video clip here as an example. Also, I'm not sure people main Thresh for those "sweet lantern throws" as much as fishing for hooks. It's just not his fantasy.

"I'm really happy minion block is in the game! It's a great feature!" - Nobody

You know, both supports featured in this clip would become non-functional in lane if you could pass through minions. To avoid their hooks, you'd be fine to stand on a minion or completely within the wave.

It's evenweave, not aida as far as I know. I used two strands per stitch with DMC thread.
In total it was 270 x 270 stitches with 61 different colours.

I hope this link works, but it shows part of the Senna cross stitch I'm making:

This one is 320 x 189 stitches (64x38 cm) with 60 colours

I hope the other people at Riot will love it too!

You're insane. That's so much work omg. And here I am trying to cross stitch some Star Wars travel posters and getting bored because they're full coverage. T_T

We use a tournament client but they have 1 to 1 the same functions like the regular client. Nothing is different just the server.
Sometimes we have different angles, we use League Director for that.

For the inevitable "lmao Rito" comments:

She's been able to do this for 5 months.

Absolutely no one at Riot read this. Not one person. And they didn't cackle like an idiot at every verse.

OH MY GOD! How big is that aida? How many colors did you use? How many strands per stitch? How many stitches? DMC?

I have so many questions, this is AMAZING.

Edit: I sent this to some other cross stitchers at Riot. This is amazing.

Thanks for the feedback,

As mentioned below, we took out a number of plugins on client startup until they are clicked by the player.

We did have discussions and made sure any plugin we decided to defer on startup would load within 3 seconds for 90% of our players. We also wanted to acknowledge the user action of a click by introducing that loading widget.

Why did we do this? -- We want to improve the client start-up times for a majority of our players and we were able to achieve this by fixing our deferred loading technology. Think of it this way, If you were to visit a site, it will not load all the hyperlinks that are on the front page, they would load when clicked. With our architecture work, we intend to clean up not only the plugin architecture but have the technology that runs the client work the way it is intended to work.

for store it takes 3 minuts and the animation is just scracth my brain. [even the colours of it feels stupi...

I'm sure we have some self taught sound designers. And it's not like they don't use producers. ;)

Its really a question of how many resources we have free at the time of the legendary record. Someone still has to write the script, get feedback on it and iterate on it, record the lines, edit the lines, implement the lines in the game and then loc it for every region. When we do legendaries we usually look if we have bandwidth to do all that, since these are done by people already working on a bunch of other projects. Sometimes the stars align and we can do them, other times people are slammed with other deadlines so we cant. This is also why the Yasuo lines came a patch later.

At the time when we recorded Ahri the narrative team was slammed writing spirit bonds so we didn't really have the badnwidth to also do a full Ahri script. Loc was also slammed loc'ing 2 Champions, 2 Legendaries and all of Spirit Bonds.
