That’s a cool idea but it’s not out yet. We work really far in the future, and I often volunteer for the less fun work anyway. :)

Actually, a funny moment happened a while back - I was talking to a producer about some ideas I had for a card set and they told me they liked my enthusiasm but I should probably stick to what I was hired for. I tried not to laugh as I told them I actually was hired as a gameplay designer. I’d been jungling so much they didn’t realize I wasn’t officially on the systems teams, I was just helping out as needed.

I need to pick a LoR follower's art for my author avatar when I eventually post dev blogs. I figured you folks might have suggestions. :)

I tend to prefer whimsical art but I'm open to lots of ideas. What'd be a good choice for a game designer? Or just someone that loves Runeterra?

EDIT - Wow, so many great suggestions! I strongly considered a bunch of them but the Sneaky Zeebles suggestion won out, because when looking up the full art after seeing the suggestion I've learned the Zeebles are SO sneaky that the best Zeeble is playfully hiding below the card frame. How can I resist? He's literally behind the scenes.

Months ago I saw black and white placeholder clip for this with an animator singing his heart out.

I've been using dark mode mods for so long that I got used to turning them off for work stuff because they used to invert the colors of normal images and it was a big pain to toggle constantly. Now I'm so used to toggling them off on work apps that I'm too used to them in light mode.

Heh, choosing which regions would be required had real thought behind it. This was just about the order the four chosen regions should be displayed in, from left to right.

We didn't want to require bandle city and targon in the same adventure because if you complete it with Yumi first it would fill the left-most slot even if you wanted it to fill the right-most slot right now. We try to avoid any potential feel-bad moments when possible.

As a game designer on LoR, I often get asked what my day to day looks like. A large portion of game design is having fun answering the thousands of little questions that pop up on a day to day basis. Here's an example from the other day:

Checking doesn't reset the timer - it's just the maximum duration that the game can play. If you check again in about 30 you should be fine. Sorry about that!

Unfortunately, the only solution to this right now is to let the match time out. It takes 90 minutes from match start for that to happen.
