Also, how long did it take for them to respond?
Hit the support button on the top of the page and it will walk you through the steps (which are different depending on the problem you're experiencing). Sometimes it takes a day, sometimes it takes five. If it takes more than a week, reply to your original email that you receive to follow up.

i'm really not a fan of the new bug report system with "ideas" and stuff, also feels like these reports are never checked (like i reported an issue with charming prince (a Big game winning/losing issue) and have no way to see if it has been addressed or even acknowledged )

What's the point of submitting multiples when they won't respond to the first?

I mean, they will respond to the first, so submitting multiple tickets because no one has responded yet doesn't help anything.

NOV 5 – Brawl Ban Announcement

MTG Arena Effective Date: November 5, 2019

Brawl:

  • Oko, Thief of Crowns is banned.

This includes using Oko, Thief of Crowns as your commander or as part of your deck. As a general reminder, Direct Challenge outside of Tournament Mode does not enforce card bans.

Regarding Player Collections:

Players who have Oko, Thief of Crowns as part of their in-game collection on MTG Arena prior to this announcement will not be receiving Wildcards as part of this update. Oko, Thief of Crowns is still playable in all other formats and events.

A Note on Wednesday Brawl:

Players will need to restart their client at any point before the start of Wednesday Brawl on November 6, 2019 at 8 a.m. PT for Brawl decks containing Oko, Thief of Crowns to appear unplayable. Otherwise, players will not see that their deck is invalid until they hit “Play” (...

Do you mean that if he wants to know more about interaction or game rules, he shouldn't go to general discussion? If so, could you explain what would be the place for those questions? Strategy doesn't seem like the place for it and neither do Announcements, Patch Notes or Player Support.

You are definitely more than welcome to ask about in-game interactions, game rules, etc in General Discussion. His question was about something outside of the game.

I went to my local store on the weekend, but they didn't have any brawl decks left for sale, and I only play online so I don't have any paper cards of my own.... meaning I couldn't participate. What are my options for getting the styles? Will I be able to buy them in the Arena store?

I believe those rewards will only be available through the event.

You get the code via email, by supplying your email at the event. The store doesn't receive physical codes for Command Tower and such. Check the wpn link posted above.

You definitely can still play with them! It's in the Best of One play queue. Just select your Historic deck (it will have a fancy border around the name of the deck) and hit play. :slightly_smiling_face:

As for stating in client, that was the first message that popped up today when you opened your client after updating. If it didn't, please double check your wildcards and send a message to support if you think they're missing. They can look into it further.

Bug Fixes

  • Players using a non-English language should no longer experience infrequent disconnects
  • The Play button should now work if players had selected a Historic deck while on the Standard deck selection page
  • Players no longer need to change match settings to select a Historic deck in Direct Challenge
  • Players can now change their Brawl decks after finishing a Brawl Direct Challenge match
