We are aware of an issue with the new War cooldowns (1 attack/1 defense per day) that sometimes limits the number of Wars players can participate in to one War per day, not one attack and one defense.

I know it’s not ideal to not be able to defend and attack once, but we are working on a fix and will provide an update when we’ve implemented it. In the meantime, we believe this will still help mitigate Shell Companies and allow more players to participate in War.

Greetings Adventurers,

I’m a little late on this as these went out last night, but we listened to your feedback and wanted to provide compensation more in line with items lost for the issue in the 1.7.0 update that impacted the crafting of Tier 5 Bags and Gathering Tools.

Please note, these have been automatically delivered to the user’s inventory, but you may need to fully restart New World for it to appear into your inventory.

But following up - as @mettemuqua007 indicated above, the cooldown for Entomb doesn’t start as soon as you cast it, so it will not reduce the cooldown of Entomb since it’s not on cooldown upon casting.

We’re aware that disabling those two abilities didn’t fully reduce the impact of this issue, but we are working to have a fix for this as soon as possible this week!

We are temporarily disabling two Musket abilities, Powder Burn and Power Shot, due to an issue that drastically impacts PvP. We are aware of another issue with Muskets, as well, and are working on fixes for both issues. We will provide an update when these abilities are re-enabled.

No, I can’t hop on and fix it. That requires a build change whereas fixing the guardian for these folks does not. We are working on the musket issue.

Hello all,

We have re-enabled the Trading Post and player to player trading on Sutekh. All trading on all worlds is now available.

Upon discovering a bug related to trading post contracts which could be exploited for item gain, we suspended all trading as a precautionary measure. We did this so we could safely assess how many players might have used this to their advantage and to prevent them from trading away any items gained by exploitation. The bug was used by a small number of players, specifically targeted at Thick Hide. The nature of the bug is that items gained had to be related to the specific contract which also needed to be in a specific error state, so it was very rare to occur.

We have corrected the bug that allowed this, banned or suspended the players who exploited the bug via trading, and recovered the items as that was the contract with an error. We also removed gold from players that profited from the duplicated items. Players suspended will rem...
