You should be able to put a 'beverage zone' on the barrel or a 'custom' zone with the beverage selected. If the water is already in a zone, say an 'all' zone, they won't think it needs to be moved. If you can't get it working, it could be a bug, in which case I'd appreciate you sending me your save folder so I can take a look. :)

That's correct. Water will fill caves and has a pseudo pressure system where it will fill upwards as well. Though, this 'physics' system is not necessarily our final version of it. We're going to play around with making it simpler and less cpu heavy.

Hmmmm, I guess I could make it where certain animals don't care about day/night cycles.

Ya, you're right there and I've had plans to create a separate/non-delayed pathing for this. :)

Hello! Happy to hear you're liking the game. :)

Here are the answers to your questions:

1.In terms of events are there going to be alout more added?and have you ever throught of adding descriptions to them to make them more adventures/add lore

A: We're going to add a looooot more. Most of our focus up until this point has been quality of life and features. We're just now starting to focus on things like content. I'm currently working on combat events as one example.

2.keeping polishing and updating the game since as long as you update it shouldent matter when you come out of early acess. However do you have any idea on when you would like to release it?

A: No clue. xD Honestly, it doesn't really matter when it comes out of EA. I'll continue to work on the game for a long, long time.

3Are there plans to add more monsters?

That pause upon starting a job is actually the pathfinding manager trying to calculate a path to the target position. Pathfinding is pretty expensive and, to offset the cpu cost, I delay this calculation at specific intervals. i.e., every 1000 steps, delay one frame. This keeps the pathfinding from having massive noticeable lag spikes. That being said, I'm going to try factoring the game timescale into the intervals that are delayed. That should fix this inconsistency you've noticed.

Haha. Ya, I've been aware of this for a while but have left it alone because it's pretty funny.

Currently doing a bunch of work on bandit events and events in general to do a re-tuning pass! :)

Currently more dangerous events are injected into the settlement event system based on the ferocity of the tile you settle, how close you are to other hostile towns, the highest settler level you have, and how many seasons you are into the game. To get the most dangerous events you'll want to settle beside another town in a tile that is ferocious.

Now, I should say that I'm currently revamping the events for combat and hostile tiles to be much more interesting and varied. Right now, most of the events are along the lines of, hey, you're getting attacked by a small group of bandits. Over the next two weeks, I'll be uploading those changes.

They're like bedrooms. Ancients will want to join another Ancient's immortality tomb if they are companions. Otherwise, they prefer to be alone.

Hey no problem about asking questions! The game is pretty complicated so it's totally understandable. :)

1. Does the quality of a room affect anything? I.e should I try to make bedrooms larger and add more furniture?
A: Yes, it affects the quality of items created. In the future, it will heavily affect entity happiness.
2. Do animals breed?
A: Yep!
3. How long does it take a child to be able to work?
A: 16-18 game days.
4. I had an issue where no one would build anything, despite plenty of wood and stone lying around. I believe the issue was that I had a clay pot set to build, and there was no dirt. Is this the case? Do workers get stuck if the top job in the queue lacks materials?
A: Hmm, they shouldn't. If this happens again, please send me your save folder so I can fix it.
5. What is the point of travelling on the world map?
A: Right now, it's just supposed to allow you to start a new settlement without scrapping your people and it... Read more

Thanks for understanding and for the patience! And, again, sorry for the inconvenience. Sounded like you had a great crew of Ancients going. I'll put in fixes for this next patch.

Ah, no, there's no info. I'll add some info the the description of items for when holding shift. Cleave is just a direct melee attack that deals quite a bit of damage in close combat.

Regarding the Ancient not attacking, I'll test that out. Sounds like a bug. You should be able to use tools for combat but it counts as an 'inefficient attack' dealing significantly less damage.

Hey Vineheart01. You need to designate food/water items for them to eat in the enclosure. If you have someone with the Tame Animal skill active, they will take ownership of the room and bring those items to the pen.

Demonpriest would be correct. Migrating hasn't fully been polished (even for humans). The overworld map actions are very much a first pass. Regardless, I'll try to put in a fix asap for those issues as they sound dreadful, especially losing to bandits when having such good gear. Sorry that happened to you! :(

Hey there. That sounds very weird. Next time that occurs, can you send your save? That way I can take a look and then get a fix in. :)

Here are some instructions on how to do so:
