Hey /u/JagexMaz, with the Seed Vault, is it possible to include a "fill seed vault with placeholders" type system or a "don't deposit ranarr seeds" etc.? The reason being is I like to keep my useful seeds in the bank (as it is more accessible than the seed vault), but it would allow me to "dump all" the unused seeds into the seed vault (especially if I've just opened two or three seed packs) without having to sort through them.
I know this is a fairly niche problem, but hopefully you understand what I mean (and hopefully it's not too much effort for you guys to implement)

Hey /u/JagexMaz , I think the seed vault is a great addition to runescape, however, I have one question; why are the seeds in the seed vault not sorted?
They are not sorted alphabetically, not on level and not on order of entry.

I allowed you to sort them however you want them rather than impose a sorting order on you.

Haha I'm not being sarcastic! The number of times I've finished prep with my team and realised we forgot to split the Overloads is too many to count! Each time I promised myself I'd submit a QOL request after the raid, then accepting the inconvenience when I realise how many times I've said that and yet never done it. Seriously, big fan of that update!

At some point the best option is going to be just to deiron those who abuse these methods, trying to implement a fix for each seems like a nightmare for the dev team
I don't think punishing players for using the mechanics available to them is the right thing to do here. It's definitely not on par with bug abuse. It would also mean continuous monitoring and verifying so if not the dev team, someone would have to put the hours in. At least fixes through content are more permanent.
I like my seed tab. Sure it eats 50 of my bank spaces, but it is mine.
You're most welcome to keep it if you like it. Nothing making you switch to seed vault! :-)
Great update, VERY happy with the wintertodt timer change especially. Hated getting those 30 sec timers and needing to rush my ass back. 45-90 is much more reasonable. Seed vault is fantastic too
/u/JagexMaz , could the vault get a toggle so you don’t need to enter the bank pin when opening? For mobile contract runs it is fairly tedious to enter pin every time.
If thats not possible, can the vault have a right click ‘deposit’ option that lets you directly deposit seeds in it?
You should only have to enter the pin once per session, just like the bank. We will not change this as it is part of what protects your items. If it is doing it more frequently than the bank, then please submit a bug.
Thanks again for this update! It's an amazing addition to the QoL for farming and it definitely lessens the burden of having to categorize and search for seeds in the bank.
In the meantime, why withdraw all? why not set your X?
This must be a godsend for ultimate ironmen, but I don't see the added value for regular players.
You still need to bank for all your teleports, doesn't having to go to the seed vault too just add an extra step in your farm run, making it longer and more click intensive?
Ultimate Ironmen can't use the Seed Vault, so probably not a godsend for them :P
This was mainly in high demand to save bank space for players with lots of seeds. Having the favourites tab should make it easier for anyone who goes through the Farming guild for their runs.

Hang on a second there. There are 5 developers and 2 trainee developers. 3 of those developers are working on long term projects, 1 is a just out of training dev, and i'm training the other one. So... effectively 1 developer available for weekly updates.

None of them were hijacked through the recovery system.
Advice I'd give for your long lost account would be to supply as much info as possible. Giving us a rough creation date and location really helps too for long time dormant accounts like that

Ah - good call. It not be possible to do that now retroactively, but you can still change the order seeds appear by dragging and dropping if that helps!
