In my other comment, I mentioned how there is a lot more room to build lore about her moving to Draynor to break out as her own Slayer Master after spending years of training with her father. A newbie Slayer Master, or even one before they are officially a Slayer Master, should work for the sake of the quest to introduce the skill while also being able to direct players to her father in Buthorpe. And while we don't know that much about Spria except that she took over for her father in RS2, I think she'd be a more interesting character to explore, especially if certain events ever happen in OSRS...

2) So if this NPC is added to Draynor, this would add a bit of a lore-headscratcher. Why would the Draynor people ask some rando to kill the vampyre when an Expert in slaying monsters lives there? Sure WoM is there too but he is a retired grumpy old man that robbed a bank, so it makes sense they don't want to approach him.

If it does pass try to make some sort of indication in the house that the master used to be in tell people where he has moved to since it might be confusing for people months down the line returning to the game and being unable to find their slayer master

As it's all about fun for sure, but many also enjoy competitive aspects of this mode, thus giving everyone a fair chances to compete.

Hey old school team, can you share the current status of bringing the mobile graphics engine (rasterizer?) to desktop clients? This was discussed back around the time of mobile release as a planned project, but we haven’t heard much lately. This is a BIG deal, at least to me, since the mobile client scales up to 120fps and presumably even higher, while the desktop clients cap out at 50fps regardless of your hardware. This is lower than even the cheapest monitors. High frame rate feels incredible, and I personally would happily forego a few content updates to modernize the presentation.

Edit: P.S. Since you guys are looking to do a better job at retaining new players, I really feel that the initial “feel” of a game, how smoothly it feels and handles, goes a long way to do that. It’s a big reason why many can’t jump from WoW to other MMOs.

With the introduction of the new slayer quest to help new players understand what it is, would it be possible to move Turael to Draynor village? People have been saying Burthrope is pretty far for a beginner slayer master, moving him there would make life easier for the newer players considering how close nearly everything he assigns is located near draynor and lumbridge. Honestly the Lumbridge Swamp caves is the defacto slayer cave for beginners.
