Realistically just wait it out, I'm sure the PC version will be busted all the same for a day or two when it drops for us too. Just report it, make it known and hopefully they'll address it, owlcat has stated as such.

We will be closely monitoring all issues and have a dedicated team literally sitting on high alert in 24/7 mode for the nearest days to deliver updates as quickly as possible.

Hello. The game releases tomorrow. Looks like you got yours early and it lacks the crucial big day 1 patch that fixes these issues. Physical versions are frozen few months in advance and it doesn't reflect the current state of the game.

As for the matter of resources, I am sure the average redditor understands that adding new MP content is very expensive since things that have to be added (assets, writing, quest branching etc) tend to snowball.

The thing is, I believe that even minor feat tweaks, or a feat addition here and there, can have the same effect as adding tons of new content for us players, because it enables new interesting and viable ways to go through the wealth of content and branching that is already there. The armor/poison feats are a good example of this.

We acknowledge that, and we are doing that. Feats are just one of the examples, if you look closely, there was a good handful of minor features or tweaks that were added based on community feedback over the lifetime of the game.

There were a lot of factors in that choice. Definitely not because it's "easy". It isn't 'easy' at all in fact, depth of the system and amount of choices is similar to that of Pathfinder's, it's just dice rules, accents and details set differently.

I suppose one of the biggest reasons is because we're big fans of 40k ourselves. Me not an exception. It's exciting to be working with this universe.

The version for consoles is based on the current PC version of the game, which went through a year of bugfixing. While there are still bugs out there, you can already call it relatively clean. Most of the remaining bugs are either relatively minor or related to very narrow parts of the game (like abilities of certain subclasses). So this shouldn't be much of an issue.

What we are more cautious of are potential performance issues and crashes due to memory problems. Mostly on older gens, shouldn't be as much of a problem on newer ones. Either case, we'll be monitoring the release closely in order to fix issues should they arise.

Is the 300+ lines of new Devil content where you corrupt queen Galfrey coming with EE or was it left on the cutting room floor? Hello, this is the reason why we don't encourage datamining - besides potential spoilers it leads to dissapointment when you see unfinished or draft bits of content and begin to expect them to 100% go live, and then your expectations may be ruined.

This particular bit was a possible option that we explored for EE (and let's be honest, the one I was pointing to, in my old post), and the narrative designers even had spare time to write a draft for it, but unfortunately we weren't able to allocate enough resources from other departments to actually implement this in time for EE. Thus it never went beyond a text draft and never got directly teased or announced.

Generally, with game development, feature cut happens all the time, and it's a normal part of the process (albeit always painful for the authors). Usually players never see what was removed, but this time the information slipped out, and that of course makes it frustrating.

Maybe you could make some another survey where you could ask the fans what Mythic paths they would be most interested in and whether they would be willing to pay 2-3x more money for it than for a standard DLC.

Perhaps another way to gauge interest for that would be to add a DLC page for it on Steam with the expected price and see how many would wishlist it. Or preorder it.

To me Mythic paths were easily the most alluring element of the game and I wouldn't mind paying for it more than 2-3x for a regular DLC to extend further this great experience.

Hey there! Unfortunately all dedicated console devs were extremely busy with pre-launch deadlines and we weren't able to get any to speak at AMA for consoles. So we were only able to answer some basic questions about it. We'd love to answer more, but it'd require additional time to check it up with the console team which we didn't have during AMA.

Regarding performance - there should be an overall improvement over Kingmaker. A big work was done on optimization. But it's important to understand that Wrath is a generally 'heavier' game than Kingmaker, and there are severe technical limitations (mainly the amount of memory on consoles) that have no visible workaround at the moment. So at release most likely you'll see an fps drop in some of the larger areas such as Drezen or Alushynirra, at least for now. We continue the work though, and will keep doing it after release.

Why not try to open another Kickstarter and tell how much money it would cost to add a new Mythic path? If enough people agreed to pay to make it possible then it would be added (for free for backers) while those who did not pay would have to pay it as a DLC while paying the equivalent of what a standard DLC for WotR costs.

Wouldn't it be possible? So many seem to wish/ask for more Mythic paths that the chance of there being enough fans that would be open to that idea does not sound so unlikely.

Let's put it this way. That is a wanted feature, you know it, we know it. It has been discussed multiple times within the studio. There are people who are ready to work on it.

But no final decision has been taken yet and this is the main concern: besides the obvious problems with story integration (it's very packed as it is) for a potential new mythic path, estimated development cost for it would be worth 2 or even 3 DLCs at once.

To fit that into one DLC means either making it 2-3x more expensive (which isn't something we're enthusiastic about from marketing point of view) or giving it very limited content and quality.

This is the reason why it's unlikely. Hope this gives an idea.

There's a lot of things we'd like to do, and most of them will eventually end up in, it's mostly the ETA that's missing, hence the "we're thinking of it" kind of answers.

This is incorrect. EE does give a number of updates to them story-wise, and more mechanical updates and fixes are to come in future patches. Plus, there's some content left out from EE itself due to budget cuts, which may be finished and added later along patches or DLCs if we dig up some resources for that.

But regardless, we see the significant amount of people interested in ratfolk, so that's something to at least ponder on for sure.

For Torag's sake, how hard is it to make a Mythic Armor Focus Feat that gives half your mythic level or some such in armor bonus?!
