Is this actual cut content or just wishful thinking? Your link seems to be about a completely different (card) game and doesn't have anything to do with WotR. Do you have any source for the claim that Owlcat cut it from the game to "make the pacing of the game faster"?

It was never planned to have this in the game.

Uhh, Lich is honestly anything but barren content wise.

On topic, sadly I can't reveal much more detail than what was already said, for now. Except that you seem to have missed that there will be a photo mode and some QoL improvements.

Not gonna lie, compared to KM's and WOTR's contemporaries feels like Owlcat really have been neglecting druid, not really in regards to gameplay but more in the rp department, there are very few opportunities in either game to act like a druid...

I think the larger issue is a class is literally just a bundle of abilities feats and spells you get in these games with basically no identity at all associated with picking druid, cleric or other traditional roleplay heavy classes.

If they end up making another PF game I hope they'll address this. It would really be the icing on the cake.

There are still many things that we'd love to implement at some point. Considering there's a long journey ahead even for WoTR, who knows? :)

whether that is exciting or scary is in the eye of the beholder, imo

A photomode is planned, yes.

At some point, certainly! Can't say when exactly yet, though.

It's the same unfinished merged spellbook fix that already popped up in 1.3.7. Ignore it for the time being, it's not ready yet and is in beta for some testing purposes.

I think it is a very good sign you start to delay releases when the content isn't ready. You really should be more generous with release dates and add a few months to make sure you release your games/dlcs in good condition!

Release dates are not only determined by "when it's ready", they also take in mind the budget. New releases generate budget for the further development, and if you delay things for too long, you begin to run out of money. Thankfully, we're not really struggling at the moment, but we still aren't the size of company that can afford to just freely toss multiple more months of development at will. Not consistently at least :)

It's been this way since Kingmaker. Cast Haste and all your other /round buffs then speed through the dialog as fast as you can because those buffs are wearing off while you're talking.

E - so many people saying I'm wrong. I wish they were right. It's trivial to test. I fired up a save right before the succubus in the Gray Garrison and cast Divine Power (duration of 60s) and initiated the event with the crusaders and the succubus when Divine Power was around 55s left.

I casually went through the dialog, which took around 90s. When combat initiated, Divine Power had 38s left. So - not bad, lost 17s during the 90s of reading the text and the cutscene.

Then I tested again and sped through the text and cutscene by pressing space and enter when the camera would shift. When combat started I had 51s left on Divine Power, a difference of 2 rounds.

You want to casually take your time, then go ahead. But those buffs ar...

Normally cutscenes are manually set to pause all effects. Looks like this one was accidentally skipped.
