Have you accidentally pushed this update to the mainstream (non-beta) channel? My Steam shows a 5 GB update pending, and I've not even opted in for the betas.
Nope, that's something else :) This day is rich on events, stay tuned.
The beta is still only available on Steam I assume? Would love to have betas on GoG going forward.
Yup, Steam only I'm afraid. Unfortunately it's rather complicated to launch them on GOG and EGS due to a number of reasons, so we usually stick to Steam only for beta patches.
Any patch work on performance, fps drops, memory leaks, slideshow unplayability?
That's next on the list, work on that is underway right now.
Does Aivu wearing bardings show up on the model like it does for other animal companions?
arcane Bloodrager is finally fixed
YES YES YES
Crusade archers do less damage
NO NO NO
That brought me some flashbacks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r3l5RiUw2ew&ab\_channel=ArsTechnica
Also still no fix for the lack of text explaining the secret ending prerequisites upon completing in the corresponding research projects.Apparently I was wrong about that^ !
Upon finishing the project, the result wasn't displayed - fixed. - I believe this should be the fix you're looking for.
On this particular instance, I have to respectfully disagree.. But thanks anyway.
There are as many opinions as there are people, they say. For example, in my personal playthrough as an Angel, I stayed loyal to Galfrey to the very end and was very fond of her character :)
Hmm... Isn't it one of the biggest gripe about Galfrey's character, even in the Owlcat poll last month?
She's behaving as the narrative team intended her to. If the character is controversial and has polar opposite opinions on them and produces a lot of emotion, it's usually a success from character development and narrative standpoint.
Hi. Since this is a post about dialog, may I ask if there's any consideration to rework some of the controversial dialog (as seen by this community) such as the one at the end of the Midnight Fane?
Didn't see any complaints about Midnight fane dialogues, what's wrong with it?
You also have to put the slabs into the right direction. Once took me 15 minutes with a guide to figure out that one with two same symbols was put in the wrong way.
3/4 of the difficulty is the damn ui.
Work is underway on some UI updates for the puzzles :) Too early for an ETA now, but the problem is recognized and is being worked on.
When can we expect patch 1.2 to come out?
Sooner than we all expected :D
Very much this. It honestly seems pretty ridiculous to not reach out to mod authors before trying to figure out an alternative solution. The community is here to make the game better and in many cases happy to contribute.
We do :) But still a "copy-paste" solution isn't available as often as many, including us, would like. Afraid I'm not a programmer to explain in more detail. Maybe in an interview with one of our programmers one day.
Glad that you're aware of this. I would like to point out that the vast majority of non-extra content in this specific mod is literal bugfixes. I hope you don't consider that "oldschool magic", nothing worse than having an ability either not do what the description says or just not work at all.
Not at all. If it's a bug, it needs to be fixed and will be at some point. But we receive hundreds, sometimes thousands to tens of thousands of reports daily, so there's a complicated priority queue where some things end up patched sooner than the others. If something isn't fixed yet, means the queue hasn't reached it yet, not that we don't want to fix it 'because something'.
Also unlike some might think, in most cases we can't just steal the lines of code from the mod that fixed a problem. We have to come up with a similar solution of our own, and include the compatibility with older versions of the game while at it, which may not be simple even if we know how the problem was solved in the mod.
When is the patch coming again? Hyped
The beta is almost here, working on some final fixes before it goes live. No set date until the stuff is fixed, but one can assume it's within a week or less.
