Need to know if they are actively fixing the bug or abandoned the project because some of the macs got working?

thanks

Of course it's actively worked on. Last patch brought an experimental fix that solved some of the crashes in multiple locations. Black insides of Commander's tent are still in progress.

Is there NO way to progress Soseil's quest if I left Drezen before talking to him? This is unfortunate as I just started a new playthrough and now I can't do this quest.

If you mean you went to chapter 4 without doing his questline, then it's failed, yes. Unfortunately the only way to deal with this is to go back to chapter 3 and do it.

I don't have a mac, but the save game location for Macs is

~/Library/Application Support/unity.Owlcat Games.Pathfinder Wrath Of The Righteous

So should they clear our that folder other than /screenshot /saves and /portraits?

Not sure it will help on mac, but worth a try at least. Please don't forget to backup the files, and please tell if it helped.

It fixed entering Drezen for the retake, but the exact same thing happens now after getting the banner.

Thank you, we're investigating.

Yep still broken here. I get sound but no visuals in commander’s tent. I cleaned out the game files and revalidated everything.

OS X 11.6.1 MacBook Pro 13” 2017 2.5ghz i7 16gb ram Intel Iris 640

Is it limited to black surroundings while in the tent, but the game is otherwise interactible, or the game crashes completely?

Starrok, I just want to let you know, in addition to all the hard work, I genuinely appreciate the sense of humor. Every one of these threads has something that makes me smile.

No luck on my side. I tried both the Commander Tent and Medic Tents. (MacBook Pro 2014 if that helps). I've Alt+B'd one of issues

Can you please PM the e-mail you've specified in that bugreport?

I now get stuck at startup screen about 75% through loading. Any idea?

Clean the cache by deleting all files at C:\Users\\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Wrath Of The Righteous
except saved games, portraits and screenshots.

In that case would it be possible to allow us to choose from pre-selected list of classes? Thing is that people would love to use different companions, it's just that their pre-selected classes are either stale or they kinda suck.

When you meet the companion for the first time it would prompt you with initial class choice:

  • Lann - Zen Archer or Hunter
  • Wendu - Fighter or Cult Leader
  • Regis - Hellknight or Signifier
  • Sosiel - Cleric or Warpriest

I feel that these are perfectly fitting the characters while changing the way they're played.

Companions are persons, they have their own lives, achievements, wishes, and we believe that simply letting Commander pick those when they are met doesn't serve the game's atmosphere well. It's a design decision that is very unlikely to be reviewed.

Any word on the "Mounted Combat" feat fix? Been waiting for months now... enemy hits still don't trigger the expected mobility check, only misses do.

Even confirmation that the devs are aware of this issue would be greatly appreciated (yes, I've already reported everything in-game).

Please PM me the e-mail you've reported those bugs from, I'll check.

Work's definitely going on over optimization, but I don't know how much of that will land in 1.2. Try the game after this patch as well, some areas have been optimized.

Here's something I've wondered for a while, are you planning on stealing quality of life ideas from Toybox? Like highlighting the scrolls a wizard can learn, shift+click to move entire stacks instantly, respec companions from scratch, refilling belt items after use automatically...

These and others like it are SO good and I feel bad for people who can't mod their game.

EDIT : The highlight is already in apparently, nice!

Respec companions from scratch won't happen in unmodded game, they had lives before you and their skills reflect it. That's one of those minor but important things that gives them personality, instead of making them plastic dolls. Refilling belt items or autobuffing is also unlikely, as it automatizes the gameplay too much, and in our opinion that'd kill some of the classic RPG magic the game has, slowly turning it into a conveyor. If you wish to do it anyway, you can always use mods, that's the reason why we give the tools to make them in the first place :)

Some less dramatic QoL things like inventory search and moving stacks are on a "would be nice to do" list, so it's mostly about time/budget constraints and will most likely make it into the game in one form or another at some point.
