We've just introduced the Glimmerwood Mystery Box which introduces 38 new microtransactions from the woodland realm, each imbued with a curious kind of magic. Each Mystery Box costs 30 points and guarantees one microtransaction with value equal to or greater than that of the box. Many of these mystery box cosmetics can be combined to create a blended version of the two designs for even deeper character customisation.

We've just released two new microtransactions, designed in a community-favourite theme: the Celestial Aura Effect and Celestial Soulrend! The Celestial Aura Effect changes the standard effect of aura gem to a cosmic one with moving particles. Celestial Soulrend replaces the effect of this new, but already popular skill gem, with a purple and yellow Celestial effect.

We're excited to announce that tickets to our November ExileCon convention in New Zealand will be available later this week! This convention will be a great opportunity to meet devs, other Path of Exile fans, hear our December expansion announcement, our 4.0.0 mega expansion announcement and much more!

We plan to open up ticket sales at 1pm PDT on Wednesday this week (9am New Zealand time on Thursday). We don't expect to sell out quickly, because we wanted to give at least a day of advance notice so that players who want to purchase them the second they go on sale can do so. We'll post the link to the ticket purchase page on the news as soon as it's ready.

We've just released the Shaped Hideout! As you might have guessed, this relatively small hideout represents Shaper's Arena. The Shaped Hideout is made of Atlas paper, located in open space, and is a nice addition to your hideout collection.

Path of Exile is all about items, and many players enjoy collecting different sets of Unique Items. Until now, players have had to store their unique item collection in regular Stash Tabs (or potentially Quad Tabs), without the ability to easily show their friends how many they have collected. Today we're releasing the Unique Collection Tab, a Stash Tab designed for unique item collectors.

We're celebrating the launch of the Synthesis League by releasing a new Brimmed Hat! Designed in a classic wizardly style, the Synthesis Brimmed Hat is adorned with golden ornaments that matches the theme of the Synthesis League. The Synthesis Brimmed Hat will only be available during the current league and won't appear in the shop again in the future. On Saturday (NZT), we launched Path of Exile: Synthesis. Peak player concurrency was 176,700, making it the second-largest Path of Exile expansion launch ever (6.5% lower than the massive Betrayal update in December that had a lot of viral publicity). In addition to great player numbers, our recent improvements to realm stability meant that this was our first launch with no significant server problems of any kind.
