I don’t have an update but the release date isn’t locked in yet. I’ll let you know as soon as I know more.

Edit: Also, all of it will happen in some form.

My Divination Card doesn't have a cat, monocle or bow tie but it certainly relates in other ways to what you're talking about :)

We're happy to introduce a community event organized by Brittleknee, AFK Creators and SoftGiving. The first charity relay race starts on September 5th at 8pm UTC (check out the countdown here). This event will be open participation, and support a host of charities, like our very own community-created GDQ! There’s also a prize pool for the racers and a multitude of giveaways to celebrate the event.

Each relay team of four players will choose a charity to represent, and by participating, ensures a certain allocation of this pool goes to the charity of their choice. The higher they place, the more the charity receives. The race will take place in a Harvest Standard Private League with a 2 Minute Death Penalty, there won't be additional mods. Each member of the relay will have to defeat Dominus before the next member can start their run.

Casting will be done by ZiggyD and Octavian0.

Prize Information (supplied by SoftGiving):

I can't confirm or deny the existence of lasers but we've officially announced the announcement at least twice. Most recently here.

The logo has one main colour and there are a few things that share that colour but mostly it doesn’t really have a main colour, neither in the Delirium sense or the Harvest sense. :)

If racing seasons do make a comeback, it would be amazing if instead of a strict time slot, you could start an event whenever you want within a day but you would have the same limited time to complete it. In the past, I missed a lot of events (sometimes all occurrences of a certain type of event) because of work/uni or the event being in the middle of the night.

I know several developers have a lot of interest in something like that.

I don't want racing seasons personally at all. They are fun to watch on twitch when people self organize them but I would never participate in a race.

The thing I particularly like about races, outside of it being a great way for groups of people to engage with Path of Exile content in the form of spectating and set up etc, is that they're a great way to hone your skills and improve your Path of Exile knowledge. It's also a cool small thing to engage with if you're kind of in the mood to play Path of Exile but not for a long session.
