Hey, we are currently looking into this bug however it seems to be a bug with the game engine itself.

Do you happen to have multiple monitors?

Hey, this happens when you have some controllers plugged in. Unplug any controller you have and it will fix this.

Hey, we are soon going to be replacing our voice chat system which will fix most of the current bugs around voice chat. Hoping to get this out next week.

Voice recognition is different though and has nothing to do with voice chat.

Kinetic Games was able to push a hotfix that fixed the initial issue basically within an hour of this whole thing starting, so a second hotfix should be out within a few hours from now.

Unfortunately, some bad actors have taken it upon themselves to try and ruin Phasmophobia for everyone else. Sorry about this everyone! Kinetic Games is aware of the issue though, and a second hotfix should be out in the morning.

Hey, you likely just need to wait a few days before you can join as we have protections in place to stop bots raiding the server with new accounts.

For the binding, there is an official binding that was created by Microsoft which should be on by default.

Thanks for your response!

We are currently experiencing problems with the game servers that is causing a memory leak leading to a game crash.

We are looking into the issue.

EDIT: A fix is now out for this.

Hi Singularity, could you send me your exact Discord name? It seems like you were just kicked temporarily, not banned, but I'll double-check to make sure nothing went wrong and caused you to get banned somehow.

Also, feel free to add me and DM me your Discord username if you're not comfortable posting it here!

So, there is any way to know the status of each item apart from reading all the comments?
Yup! At the top of the Trello board, there are headings that tell the status of items in each column. For example, items in the first two columns "Backlog" and "To-Do" might take some time to be added. However, if you scroll to the right you can see the columns "In Progress" and "Next Update." DKnighter (the developer) moves items to these columns whenever he begins working on them actively, but right now he's mostly focused on fixing bugs in the beta branch.

Hi!

Those colors don't really have anything to do with completion of the item they're on, they're just labels that help to organize everything listed on the Trello page. For example, red is for bugs/issues, orange is for stuff relating to map design, and green is for stuff that involves programming. If you click on an item on the Trello page, you can see what each of the colored labels mean.

Let me know if you have any more questions! :)
