Jajajaajjaj,I misunderstood some videos on Polytopia's YouTube channel.. perdon
Right now, Polytopia Legends is shaping up to be something similar to a sandbox RPG, but that's not confirmed in any capacity.
We don't even know, and we're the developers.
Hi. I had to purchase it a second time, got an error, and it works
You shouldn't have to buy it again to get it to work.
Wait there is 17 colors ? Mb
Well, think about it. Here's what we've got so far (in tribe order):
Red
Blue
Black
Yellow
Lime Green
Brown
Purple
White
Orange
Teal
Dark Green
Burgundy
Salmon
Hot Pink
Tan
Chartreuse
Olive Green (Forgotten)
Light Blue (Ancients)
So, then, u/Violent_Lemon, what colors are we supposed to add that would be distinct from the ones mentioned?
No there's ALLOT
Yes, yes, the visible light spectrum is still vast compared to our 17 tribe colors.
But the issue is visual distictness. Yes, you can have orange, vermillion, and tangerine as colors, but they'd be real annoying to differentiate easily, especially if you have some level of colorblindness.
We'd run out of distinct colors pretty fast.
Did that after posting this, worked just fine after
Funny how that happens
That's interesting.

I didn't know the shamans were still self-aware. Are the bug and the shaman like besties or something?
Yes, same as every other Ciru/Polytopian pair
Wait but isn't shaman's brain is ruled by the bugs? Or is it a mutual relationship?
It's a mutual relationship.
The Ciru Bug does influence the thoughts of their host, but the host is still in control.
I am not dumb and this is infact a game where MERMAIDS fight wars and giant insects run a whole kingdom. EVER HEARD OF FANTASY!?
The bugs don't run the Cymanti. It's the Shamans that rule
No! Of course not! I actually like the concept of basically another species evolving to take human form nd living among humans. I was devastated when I found out that they actually wear mask. Is it giving away the false that I have problems with them?
Elyrion Polytaurs are literally anthropomorphic animals - furries.
No, no, I see it, too
Then it should be only on singleplayer and pass & play
Necroing a 5-year-old thread? Wow.
Ah, that's good to know. I always did think the clubs seemed too primitive, almost like a caveman caricature. What other weapons would they use?
Well, they still use clubs. Warriors are pretty much irregulars or militia, more or less. I wouldn't even be surprised if some Warriors used whatever they had on hand that could be a weapon, eg tools.
So spears do exist in Polytopia. They did ever since knights did, but this might be the first and only time spears are acknowledged by name. So are spears only used for hunting since there are no spears units, only swordsmen? Or do spear units exist only in the lore?
The game uses a lot of abstractions for the sake of gameplay clarity.
I don't think all Warriors use clubs, for instance.
Little guy looks terrified
For good reason.
