Well, yeah, kinda? We all know that the units in the game are abstractions of armies, but like, this? You could probably say that it's "A Swordsman unit fighting a Warrior in a city," but really, don't look too closely. :P

No one said they were good at their jobs, just that they have border patrols. :P

To be fair, this isn't an RTS.

Right now, we use right-click for deselecting things, as it'd be pretty frustrating for others if they were forced to "always select stuff", since you can select everything on the map, especially the tiles.

When it comes to Steam, it sounds like a problem sometimes and that you should retry.

If you haven't already, try restarting Steam by fully quitting and starting it up again. If that doesn't work, try verifying the game's files. If neither of those work, tell me, and we'll try new ideas.

Hello Polytopians!

We've listened to your feedback and have added back some of the multiplayer matchmaking options. We've also added the ability to disable fog in replays and will sort your friends alphabetically.

Bug Fixes:
- Added more options to matchmaking
- Added 7 day timer for normal games
- Get ingame notifications when it's your turn
- Sort friends alphabetically in invite popup
- Live game timer fixes
- You get time for units without a home city as well in live games
- Disable fog in replays
- Replay improvements
- Added more camera focusing
- AIs no longer cheat past disabled tribes in lobbies
- Non-multiplayer players get their tribe scores server synced again
- Lots of smaller bug and crash fixes
