We recommend that you spread out your troops, then.

That would make cloaks more annoying; swordsmen cannot be one hit by anything

To be fair, Daggers aren't supposed to be easy to remove.

The best nerf I can think of that can at least reduce the minesweeper aspect is to let cloaks and/or mindbenders also detect the vague direction where enemy cloaks are. Or increase their cloak detection radius with different icons for each distance.

We tried that first suggestion first, and found it too limiting.

Ok but you still need well over 8 stars worth of units to counter a single cloak

The primary (and intended) counter to Daggers is to find the Cloak first and stop it before it makes Daggers.

What do you mean "2 steps back"? Knight spam was awful and deserved to get replaced.

Cloaks aren't even meta. They're just a tool.

Now, note, we are planning to improve the way that AI use Cloaks, so it's not so spammy.

Don't worry, we're aware and looking into solutions.

Which can only mean one thing, this image happened before the Vengir tribe was banished by the coalition of the other tribes. When Vengir was the most prospering tribe still. Dang this sh*t becoming Game of Thrones bit by bit. We even have the Targaryen's (Elyrion) the White walkers (Polaris/Gaamis), and the Stark's (Bardur). Now what? We're getting Valyrians (Ancients)?

Have you read the other blurbs from the past years? That should help clear stuff up.

can only wonder, on a scale of aquarion to cymanti, how altered will their tech tree be, judging by their looks I'd say quite

We can't tell you. :)

This makes me think that the reason why Vengir were pushed into the wastes by the other tribes is because they either become too strong during the war against the Ancients or were simply too violent and militaristic

I can confirm that at this time, Vengir finishing off the Ancients was heralded as a "good thing" by everyone else, as Vengir was one of the group of proto-tribes that fought the Ancients.

Sorry, let me rephrase that.

This recreation depicts pre-banishment Vengir

Hello Polytopians!

It's Concordance Day, once again! The time we like to dedicate to talking about the Ancient Polytopians, their tyrannical ways, and their downfall which lead to the tribes we have today.

Normally every year around this time, we usually have an art contest where we hand you a blurb about the Ancients and you make some art around it. Well, this year, we've decided to give you all the gift of our own art!

The war was long, the battles were brutal, and the Ancients were slowly losing their grasp on the land. This coalition of upstart tribes had won, and there was no doubt about that. Some say the Ancients weren't actually wiped out that day at the Plains of Razul, but went into hiding to plot their revenge...

There you go!

Happy Concordance Day!
