[2023] Suspended due to cheating for 15days? and I have not cheated in video games ever in my life

Hi! I dont understand how is it possible that I have been banned for cheating even when I have not cheated. People have accused me for cheats in chat and have said that they will report me for cheats but I think it is just because back in the day I was plat 2 player but now when I started playing r6s again I got copper as my first rank. Do people get cheat bans if people just report you enough or what? Anyways this is [censored]. I get banned from game that I have been playing legit for like 4 years.

No, you wouldn't get a ban for player reports alone.

Does the email you received say it's for cheating? Cheating would usually be a permanent ban.

Also, this is posted in the Rainbow 6 Extraction forums but I assume this is for Siege?

Hello @Eat55hitt,

As temporary bans are issued by an automated system, they cannot be lifted, including by Ubisoft Support. Nor can we make any changes to your records.

We advise taking care with any third party programs you may have installed on your PC (including if they're for making changes to other games) as they may be picked up by the anti-cheat.

If you wish to appeal a permanent ban, you can do so via our Help Site, Facebook or Twitter, but we're unable to assist in lifting any temporary bans.
