In R6S Y7S3 I had a lot of lag in ranked which made the game unplayable in general. last week Y7S4 came out. And I played 1 match Ranked and again I had a high ping and the game just freezes for at least 9 seconds. I play on the EU server. Furthermore, I have not had a (serious) lag in casual so far. Does anyone have a solution for this? I have disabled crossplay but haven't been able to test it yet.

Hey @BramB5807, sorry to hear that this has been an issue for you during ranked matches. If you have tested if you are still seeing this problem in Ranked after the changes made, I would recommend checking out our connectivity guide to ensure there are no interferences that could be the problem. However, this is not to suggest any internet issues on your side but to ensure that the Rainbow Six Services and your Internet Service are communicating correctly. Hello @BramB5807 the reason we ask you to run through the dedicated Siege article for connection issues is that it should help rule out if the issue is caused by online services, ISP, software, router, hardware issues, or the game itself, for PC platforms > https://www.ubisoft.com/en-gb/help/article/000094617

You can also try changing your regional datacentre settings to see if you experience a lower ping, less lag and a better connection on a different server > https://ubi.li/5aG7a

There was a known issue with the servers on 26-Dec and I'm afraid we can't remove temporary bans for abandonment sanctions and they will still apply from disconnecting even if it wasn't done on purpose.

Can you let us know if you are using a VPN at all?

And which server you are connected to?

Are you playing solo or in a group with friends?
