Dear Ubisoft,

This is not the first time and probably not the last one.

This problem happens alot and is a really old bug now. yet u dont fix it..
U cant play the game for one hour because of this bug. yet u get an abandon penalty.

Here some infomation so i wil not get a penalty:

pls fic this bug already!!!!! its been half a year.

Hi M_I_N_C_H. I'm sorry to hear that this happened! Just to confirm, are you meaning to say that you received an abandonment penalty even though you were not in a ranked match? If that's the case, did you leave the queue for ranked prior to receiving this penalty?

We are aware that, if a match is found at the point of a player cancelling queuing, this can mean that matches start with fewer players. There is also the potential for the player who cancelled queuing to receive an abandonment sanction, as they have effectively "left" the match they were entering. It sounds as if this may be what has happened to you in this scenario.

While we are unable to prevent, remove, appeal or shorten abandonment penalties, we are happy to forward any concerns you may have regarding these to the Rainbow Six Siege team for their consideration. We do also have a dedicated Feedback section here on the forums that I would encourage you to post your ideas in.

If your queue ever lasts for longer than five minutes, by the way, I would recommend restarting it at that point, to establish a fresh connection and try to matchmake with any players who recently became available after finishing their previous games.

Thanks for reaching out to us, welcome to forums and I am sorry to hear about the issue you ran into.

I've tried to look into your account however cannot see your Xbox profile being linked to Ubisoft one so cannot really see what is the suspension for.

To add, regrettably our Support team is unable to remove any temporary suspensions that take place and therefore you will have to wait for it to be concluded before being able to access the game again. I am sorry if this may not be the outcome you have anticipated and should you have any questions, let us know.

Based on the description you've provided, I can understand that lobby was frozen and you were unable to start the match, is that right?

If it is indeed (correct me if I'm wrong), I can confirm that this issue has been brought up to our game team and is currently under review.

Hello everyone sorry for the inconvenience this has caused some of you.

Sometimes you can receive an abandonment penalty if you leave a lobby right before a match starts.
The game has already loaded you into the team as it loads up the map, so if you leave, it may give you an abandonment penalty for 30 minutes and up depending on how many times this has happened.

Most of the time you should receive a warning message when you abandon a match, sometimes however you can receive an abandonment penalty later on and not directly after the match that had been abandoned, which can lead to some confusion as you are being penalised after the fact when you have played some normal games or not even connected to a match.

If you are having trouble finding a match after 5 minutes, we recommend restarting your game to reconnect to the server.

If you often have trouble finding matches, we would recommend trying some connectivity troubleshooting to strengthen your connection to the servers.

Unfortunately we can not restore lost MMR or remove temporary abandonment sanctions.

But even if you do reconnect there is no game to connect to, so its just connecting forever.
So to get able to queue to ranked again, you need to enter a quickmatch or something and either lose or win.

Because only after the endgam syncronization the false abandoned game window disappears.

How hard is this to understand?
I understand that you as a support dont know much other than the standard helpdesk info you are given, but please someone who know what im talking about fix it, or pass it on to someone who can.

We have seen a small amount of similar reports and we have forwarded this to the R6S team. We're trying to reproduce it ourselves, then we can implement a fix.
