Hey everyone!

My operator loadouts keep reverting back to default, which is becoming increasingly frustrating. The issue has occurred 5 times in the last two months.. It wouldn't be much of an issue to me, but the User Interface in the loadout section is so slow that it takes forever to apply all skins, uniforms, headgear, charms, and attachments to all 54 operators. It takes in excess of over an hour and a half if I want to apply every single cosmetic that I want on each operator.

I have found this issue occurs in two separate ways:
1. A profile change occurs. (This only occurs on random occasion, so maybe I am not exiting the game properly when switching profiles?)
2. I play a limited time event. (My loadouts were set to default after playing one game of both Golden Gun and the newest event and current event, Grand Larceny)

I hope Ubisoft can recognize this issue and maybe create a "Remember my Preferences" or "Remember my Loadout" option so that when skins are reset, I can restore my loadout without the hassle of going through every operator manually. In the meantime, does anyone have a fix to this? I don't want to stop playing on my other account, as it is the account I use to play with friends who can't play with my higher ranked account. I also don't want to not play the events, as they are limited time and don't think I should be prohibited from playing because of the worry that my skins will be reset.

Hey, PoBros1!

This issue has been reported but we were unable to reproduce on our side. Can you send a link to a video of the issue occurring and maybe any steps you did or circumstances that could lead to the reset each time?

Hello everyone,

This issue is caused by a corrupted local save and can be resolved by replacing it with a new save file.
Please note that replacing the local save files will reset your in game settings, operator load outs and Situation progress, you will have to set these back up once again, but afterwards this issue shouldn't occur again.

To delete save files try these steps -

- From Xbox Home, go to Settings
- Go to System and select Storage
- Select Manage storage on the right-hand side of the screen, then select View contents
- Highlight a game, press the Menu button, and select Manage game
- Select Saved data on the left-hand side of the screen
- Choose a game to access the game’s saved data
- From here, use the Options Menu to delete the save files

Thanks. You can also keep a backup of your save file after you have saved your loadouts etc again just incase, and that may help you in future.

I completely understand your annoyance here, and I would be just as aggravated in your shoes. Secondly, I would strongly suggest completing the suggestions listed here to get this resolved. Although you may not be receiving the "failed to load player profile" error, those steps will still help to get this resolved. I understand it can be exhausting to receive varying troubleshooting suggestions from our members, but in this case they would need to be completed to get this resolved.

Hey,

We have reported the issue is happening more lately but there is some steps you can do to try and prevent it from happening again.

Please try deleting the local and cloud save data for Rainbow Six Siege. Please note that if you delete your Save Data for Rainbow Six: Siege, your progress and unlocks will remain. However, you will lose all preset loadout configurations and Situation progress.

Once you have deleted the save files from both the local storage and online storage, launch the game again to see if the issue has resolved.

The issue with the events causing loadouts to reset is under investigation at the moment. In regard to your support case, they will close after 4 days if we have not had a response from you.

Hello everyone, thank you for letting us know about your load outs resetting and how you have been experiencing this issue more frequently, this issue seems to occur during different events that we create such as the Golden Gun Event and the previous Mute Protocol Event

Apologies for any inconvenience caused, we have been told this issue will be fixed in time for the next update.

However, if this should happen in a future event, I would like to ask you for the following information so that we are able to reproduce this on our side -

- What platform were you on? If PC are you able to send us a link to your Dxdiag?
- When is the issue occurring exactly? What game mode?
- What loadouts or skins are resetting, or is this across all operators?
- Can you link us to a video showing your loadout resetting?
