I bought r6 on epic games cause i've had these issues on uplay before and when i go to play it asks for a ubisoft activation code which in the my games in my account information i dont have. I dont know where to find it and i dont want to get ripped off again. I have bought multile games off of ubisoft and my whole account had been stripped and i have no activation codes that i can use.

Hey Kodamuz,

I have checked your account and can see that it is active on there.

But it does appear that you potentially have 2 accounts. Make sure you are logging into the correct one to play the game.

Hello Sabaxblaze, I do see your copy of Rainbow Six Siege from the Epic Games store activated on your account without issue.

Could you please try running both Uplay PC and the Epic Games launcher with administrator rights, and then see if Rainbow Six Siege will launch without issue?

Hey Summit1G.SSB
When the game crashes, do you get any error messages or error codes?
Can you go through the steps listed here and let us know if this is still happening

Hey AnX7ieTy - welcome to the Ubisoft Forums!

I can see from your account that you have now been able to link your Epic Games Account, and your copy of Rainbow Six: Siege bought through the Epic Games Store.

If you have any other issues that you need our assistance with, just let us know

Hey GymCarr,

Thanks for reaching out to us and welcome to forums!

To correct this situation, I recommend the following troubleshooting steps:

Please, navigate to the Ubisoft Game Launcher cache folder, by default located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\cache
Do note, that the Uplay client must be fully shut down at this point and not running in the background.
Open the cache folder and move the "ownership" folder to a safe location.
Once you have backed up that folder, delete the "cache" folder.
After deleting the cache folder, please verify the game files within Epic:
- Open Epic
- Navigate to the game in your Library and click the cog icon.
-click the Verify button once the drop down menu appears.
- After verification, the launch option appears again.

When this has been completed, try launching the game again.

If the issue persists, we would ask you to visit our support website, submit ticket and provide your full proof of purchase from Epic and a picture of your ownership folder, which you have previously backed up.
Once you have screenshot the "ownership" files, please reinstall the Uplay PC client.
If the re-installation of our software did not fix your issue, please provide the files mentioned above, along with your launcher logs found in the folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\logs\

Should you have any questions in the meantime, let us know!

Hi OkiDoki7264!

Sorry to hear you were asked for a key.

If verification is not available within Epic, please install the game files in Uplay. If you need to verify the files after installation, you can do this via the following:-

- In Uplay, click on Games tab at the top of the window
- On the next screen, hover over the game tile. This will make a little arrow appear at the bottom right of the tile
- Click on this arrow to make a drop-down menu appear, then click on Verify files

When this has been completed, try launching the game again.

If the issue persists, please contact us on Facebook or Twitter in a private/direct message. Alternatively, you can also create a support ticket.

Thanks!

Hello!

The steps posted about by Ubi-Houck should resolve this issue. Can you give that a try please?
