If you're experiencing the issue where the main menu appears to be locked, please wait for the game to fully install.

@SithKermit, if your menu is showing some options as locked, this means that the game is downloading more content in the background. Can you confirm if this is the issue?

@Khesanh1, I believe this will be the same issue for you. Please leave the game on the main menu while the content installs.

Hi The_Emu_Empire3! Welcome to the forums. Are you also having an issue installing the game?

This will be a background download.

Some of the game will be unlocked to play, such as situations but the rest of the content will be installing in the background.

We strongly recommend not opening other applications while the game is installing, chemaguire.

Jandoking30, it is best to leave it open while it is installing. I would play Situations in the meantime, should not take much longer than the time you have waited.

Please unplug your PS4 or Xbox from the wall for two minutes. Then try the download again.

You can try finishing the installation after unplugging for two minutes. It is possible that you need to uninstall and reinstall the entire game while making sure not to start the game until it is entirely finished installing.

You shouldn't have to repurchase the game! Please make sure you are trying to install the game on an internal drive. Please also make sure there is enough space for the game to install. Do not launch any other application while the game is installing and updating. We strongly suggest these steps as well (XB1 / PS4).

If you guys continue to have issues, please submit a ticket with a list of what troubleshooting steps you've done at this point. Hope this helps!

Just to confirm, you are on PS4?

The initial download on PS4 is not the whole game, it's just the initial game data to allow the game to launch.

You can check the download progress of the actual game by highlighting it in the menu, pressing the Options button and selecting Information. It will then show the download progress there.
