The team is aware of the interaction players have been having with smurf accounts and how frustrating it is for people in the community, and are investigating.

It's been a hot topic in the community for awhile, and I've seen some people say they think smurfing should be a reportable/bannable offense. What's your opinion on that?

If this is the route you choose to go, be mindful and especially careful if the defenders have a Cav in play. Cav players thrive in games where individuals go off on their own. I would suggest pushing with a teammate or two while droning and still play with that confidence Yeanaa mentioned.

I hope your negative experience hasn't stopped you from wanting to play Ranked! I know how frustrating it can be to be placed into an ongoing match.

Based on my knowledge, I don't think there are any changes coming aside from maybe some new Challenges.

The devs didn't want the event running for five weeks straight because they felt players might get burnt out, which is why it's a weekend-only event leading up to S.I.

You don't need a rank in Quick Match in order to play against other players who have ranks. Those ranks only matter in Ranked. The Quick Match MMR, however, is a different story. A player can be Gold, Plat, Diamond, and still have the casual MMR of someone who's never played Ranked.
