I know it can be frustrating joining a match in progress, especially if you get into one where the team is down 0-2. The reason why you're probably seeing so many is due to players leaving due to being kicked, rage quitting, or leaving because they don't want to play on the map that popped up in the queue.

Never say never! I don't have any information on whether or not the feature would be added, but the dev team knows and the feedback has been passed up the chain to the team.
