I know it's under NDA, but are you able to confirm the coop aspect is already in? No problem if not, I'm just catching up on news after a while sorry.
Affirm! Singleplayer and CO-OP has been in since the beginning of the Alpha and still is. It has just been moved to a separate Steam branch (still accessible to Supporters, just need to switch via the Properties menu) with the release of the PVP build.

We'll be adding more doors to PVP maps soon. They're a real gameplay changer and affect the pace a lot so we're going slow with it as we test and tweak the way they work for players.

So let me get this straight: If i bought the game BEFORE the announcement, I get the MLO weapons pack and a 60% discount when upgrading? Or do people that buy SE now get the weapons pack and discount?
The compensation is only for those who pre-ordered the Standard Edition before this announcement. All future Standard Edition purchases will remain the same as before — only Beta access and the full game on release.
The coupons haven't been sent out yet — we're currently undergoing procedures to make sure the delivery of the coupons to all Standard Edition buyers goes well. They'll arrive before the end of June at the latest; should be sooner than that.
So the game isn't even in beta and we already have 3 confirmed dlcs? And only one of those sounds cosmetic (fbi), weapons packs could really affect gameplay.
Got to say, not a fan of this.
I've seen this comment a lot, and I'm not sure about what's wrong with it — we just want to compensate the players for their patience regarding the Beta delay. We're not going down the microtransactions road nor planning for a hundred DLCs a la PAYDAY 2 before we finish the game or after (I love PAYDAY 2, it's just an example). It's just a weapons pack to say thank you to those who chose to pre-order the game and it won't hinder the game's development in any way. Getting the game out—and in the best, most enjoyable and solid state it could possibly be—is our priority.
Supporters, whether early or new, will receive all the perks listed on the website (Alpha access, Beta access, the FBI HRT pack, a free copy of the first expansion, a digital copy of the game's OST and a listing of their name in the game credits), plus the South Central and MLO Weapon Packs on full game release.
Standard Edition buyers who pre-ordered the game before today's announcement will receive the MLO Weapons Pack and a 60% discount coupon for a Supporter Edition upgrade in compensation for the delay of the Beta, which they expected to be playing this month as per our former promise. Standard Edition buyers who pre-order the game after today's announcement will just receive the full game on release and access to the Beta, like before.
