Strange. I'm also on Xbox but I've never seen that message. The only one I see is the 'sync your Xbox friends with your epic account' thing that I always dismiss.
That said, the game has been launching with a 'syncing data with Xbox' message before the title screen lately. I should be careful then.

Extra Modes are definitely in the mix for Tournaments, and we'll talk more about that ahead of the season.

We haven't seen a lot of requests to bring it back (aside from one decent-sized thread a few weeks ago, which had some pretty mixed opinions within).
