Well then...
Well then...
Gonna sandwich both of your replies in one.
I'm not expecting Pips to be super vocal with us like Shauny, You and recently Poerkie has been. But I'd at least expect him to be in some BTS', the Year aheads, Runefest? EoC 'trailer' and Documentary I'm pretty sure he appeared in but other than that?
I've personally never been able to go to runefest but I've always watched the streams, I know some, or a lot of areas aren't shown but I don't recall seeing Pips anywhere there
I don't understand that if he's knowledgable about what the game needs that we'd be lining up two years that haven't been great and to top it off Rs3 having a steady decline for a while now
And if he's a high level player, he himself should see problems within the game? There's also the touchy subjects of monetization in the game and Jagex trying to innovate and make new games that flop but those have been beaten like a dead horse
I lurk rather than post! I'll read our forums, the subreddits, community convos on twitter* most days. I play most weekends.
I prefer not to post because I'm not involved in the day to day of RS or OS, and the teams can speak on the specifics of their work much better than I.
*I now use a different (personal) twitter account and my Jagex/RS one has been dormant for some time... but I've removed the outdated banner that was spotted today :P

Hey, I'd just like to clarify my response here - I'm not sure what state the loyalty point rework is in myself. I believe that there are no developers working on making changes right now, but it may well still be in design stage. The proposal Mod Sayln was speaking of in this post ultimately didn't work out and had to be thought out again, which is why it didn't come to fruition.
Well that's beautiful! We'll feature it on our socials ;)
Hi Pewc,
Please contact our Tech team so we can look into this for you and do our best to help.

With all respect that box has been ticked for my account for several months. It may be that my account is a username log in rather than an email log in is affecting it.
Make sure you check out our Not Receiving Emails article :)
Thank you for your reply and for taking the time to comment.
I could be the exception; I can't imagine having any trouble with purchasing bonds, either you pay for them on the website or you buy them off the Grand Exchange. They seem quite straightforward in their purchase and use to me but perhaps I'm giving others too much credit.
I appreciate why it could be useful to canvass opinion, but in my opinion, this poll didn't really canvass opinion other than the last "Any further comments" box.
My gripe really was as you say, "prefer not to waste your time with irrelevant questions". I'm not anti-bond or anything, I just see them as perhaps more straightforward to use than your data would have suggested. I was really just a bit chumped that this is the first email I get from the company since being subscribed to the mailing list February-ish; makes me feel a bit like I'm signed up solely for bond polls rather than it being part of a mixed content email delive...
Depending on your answers you were asked certain questions, if you didn't have an issue with your Bonds purchase then you were not asked some of the extra questions in the survey.
If you're not receiving emails please check out your Email and Communication Account Settings , Click Update Preferences, tick the RuneScape News box, hit Save.
This is the first email I've received in several months of being signed up for emails. I originally signed up for the monthly xp summary emails but I've never actually received one. Bit of a kick in the shins to get this as a first outing.
I'm not one to usually gripe too much about MTX but being signed up for emails, I don't expect pointless surveys like this that I'm sure you could have analysed with ingame or website tools.
Thanks for reading

The Bonds survey was sent out on behalf of Player Support and will help us to make informed decisions as we continue to improve Player Experiences across the board.
We regularly investigate different contact reasons to help improve the experience for our players, especially if they’ve needed to contact us. Players needing assistance with Bonds happens to be one of our top contact reasons, so we are eager to improve the situation where we can.
While we do have more stats than you can shake a stick at, it’s also useful to have a proper emotive understanding of the experience and this isn’t always obvious from cold, hard, statistics. The survey has been designed to capture information that other analysis might not provide and helps to define your User Journeys and identify any strengths or weaknesses, hopefully resulting in necessary changes.
We also appreciate that your time is incredibly valuable so we often have logic built into...

Alright, but thanks for the reply! :) Gj, I have one question... Is runemetrics coming to other languages?
no plans at this time to
/u/JagexAllstar Could u check this please :)? <3
We're aware of it it has just not become as important as other things we are working on at this time :)
Hi AkshayTP,
As I’m sure you will understand, we’re constantly amending our name filters in an attempt to remove any unwanted content from the game - it’s a constant challenge to stay up to date with any words or terms which may be deemed as offensive.
Should we add a new term to our name filter we won’t immediately remove any names that contain that term, however as soon as the name is released from an account it will no longer be available for a player to claim.
Our systems work in such a way that even if the filtered word is included as part of a longer name, the name will be affected by the filter.
We are currently looking into the name filter and what changes can be made, but for now, it’s going to be a case of choosing an alternative name to set onto the account.
I can see you’ve also submitted a ticket regarding the situation. I’ve noted your account thoroughly regarding the situation and we’ll see what we can do about the bond purcha...

However I would like to clarify a few things...
The line
"Google is more relaxed with the process."
was not meant to be taken literally :P. The process for submitting builds to both Google and Android is quite stressful and there are a lot of rules we have to abide by. This was more of a throw away comment because we managed to get it passed Google a bit faster than Apple.
You have stated some sizes for initial sizes, however these were plucked from memory and wont be accurate. Could you put a disclaimer stating this :).

Is it??? When you see that we have over 47,000 followers for @jagexsupport, maybe that's not so absurd. Also, when we created that account, we realised that players were wanting to use twitter to ask questions, or get help - so we actively decided to have a presence on there. Whilst we cannot resolve account or payment queries on twitter (it could be anyone tweeting, and we always need to verify account ownership before talking about account details), we can certainly direct anyone needing assistance to the right area of the Support Centre for further help.
We decided to go where players were asking for help - a bit like on Reddit - there's an active player presence on here, so we regularly check it, and reach out to anyone needing help.
Our advice will always be to go to the Support Centre to check articles, or search for your issue (and the Support Centre is optimised for mobile devices), but we totally get that not everyone wants to do that in the first inst...
