This isn't a huge buff, I have the numbers on a spreadsheet with gp P/h and it was thought through.

I'll be happy to explain how we came to those numbers and the the data we have to calculate gp & kills p/h later when I have more time.

It's definitely worse per player in 7 man (live), but the GP across modes isn't as bad as the difference between the bow drop rates because as a team you have more rolls on the misc table (Stave, pet, pages etc), and those drop rates don't differ across modes.

As a CM we should keep talking even if it gets though. If that means an ice barrage of downvotes, so be it.

It’s a great step, but why not just coordinate with the PCT discord guys? Complete eldritch is still upwards of 1B and this has it at under half that

This is using actual sales data for the past 30 days and not player-created price checking data. Most of the time, they aren't aligned but that's because price-checking clans/discords/FCs have prices higher than what the items are actually being trade for through the GE or player-to-player trading.

There is an irony in that correcting guide prices to actual prices causes major activity in the trading in that item, causing prices to change dramatically. I tend to keep an eye on the new sales data and make a change in the short-term if necessary.

They won't be fixed until we next reboot the game!

Hey Radiogamers - thanks for this.

All changes made so far were the first phase for oddments and part of a wider plan.. more iterations to follow. All feedback is really useful - thanks for taking the time to look into this.
Our aim with this first phase was simply to give players more choice over their rewards from TH. If you choose to keep your item you net less oddments, if you choose to exchange out you net more and are a step closer to getting something in-store which you know will benefit your character. If it doesn't feel like that is the case so far, then we need to keep working on it.

What I'm curious about is, how they appear to work such short 'notice periods'. A lot of them leaving announce they're leaving pretty soon-ish (i.e., next week or end of the month but it's already halfway through said month). Makes you wonder... Is it redundancy? Gardening leave? Dismissal? Expiration of contract? Submission of shorter notice periods because they simply cannot stand working there anymore? (I've done this!!) Using accrued annual leave strategically to shorten the time left on notice? (I've also done this!) Or are they submitting their resignations in advance (the UK stand is about 4 weeks, but can go as high as 16 weeks in some cases depending on length of service), but not announcing it until nearer the end of the notice? Maybe I'm just cynical! But this eerily stinks of the old saying 'rats leaving a sinking ship'!

Hmmm... Guess we'll never know! But, I wish you all the best either way :)

I handed in my notice 4 weeks ago, take your tinfoil hat off. :P

There's no bad reason for leaving to be honest. Jagex has been good to me. I just want to try something new. I don't fully know what I want to do or where I see myself in the next 5 years so I'm hoping this new role will help me decided.
