Give us a bit more time please.

I know it's been a long time already and we don't have a good track record of delivering on these things but we're still working on something.

Eventhough I am also aware that regardless of what we say, some of you will probably not be satisfied with it.

Matters like these are delicate & very complicated and as a result require a lot of thought. This also makes it very difficult for all of us, jmods, to keep posting.

Thank you for the constructive and well thought through suggestion. I'm really interested to hear ideas for alternatives to direct XP rewards that complement gameplay. For a lot of players, time is their most valuable commodity, so its not just the progress, but the speed and time saved that is important.

I do like the concept of using TH keys in other ways as well and we have been looking at some ideas like this, so I'm happy to discuss it with the team. How would you feel about events similar to the Summer Skill-off if they used TH keys to unlock buffs or time extensions? Any other thoughts on how it could work?

Thanks again for taking the time to post. Ultimately its ideas like this that we can try out and build on, that could mean we decrease reliance on TH Promos or Direct XP rewards and shift the balance in the right direction for the future.

I believe a recent patch fixed the bonus xp issue. As for the other stuff, perhaps they could allow you to right-click the slayer task icon to access them.

Reset Buttons

  1. There are 3 options when starting a new account, 2 of them do the same thing.
    • I should be able to say I played recently and skip the path system entirely.
  2. Resetting the tutorial is a useless tool that only allows you to break the game.
    • If it must exist, just allow you to talk to an NPC and reset the path system that you can skip.
    • The above would prevent teleportation bugs/exploits and item dupes (which still exist).
  3. The Burthorpe/Lumbridge skip are essentially the same thing.

Thank you for your feedback. I agree with most of your points, and they're either things we hope to address in the future, or I implemented them the way you preferred, and was later compelled to change them to the current implementation to satisfy acceptance criteria from stakeholders.

I'll bear your feedback in mind if I'm allowed the opportunity to work in this area of the game in the future.

Seems orion is the only jmod at jagex that has the foresight not to f**k players over because he actually added the ed2 pet drop in right from the start. Not that hard to think ahead.

The pet was never planned nor was it ever on any release schedule, it was something I did in my spare time.

So we can't add things to existing content once it's gone live in your opinion or did I understand you wrong?

Can we not have 3 more elemental workshops? They have to be some of the most boring quests' storywise there are, with puzzles aren't justified by the reward

The series should be completed.

I'm hoping we can come up with a reward from the series that is worthy, and see that as a necessity to continue/complete the series.

There is a found narrative within the series that is coming to the fore more as the series goes on.

It need not be 3 more quests, per se, but 6 more runes/puzzles. That could be one quest with 6 puzzles or six quests with 1 puzzle each. Which would be your preference?

Players are also, of course, free not to play them if they really don't enjoy puzzles. That is not reason enough to not finish the series for those players who do enjoy them.

Not planning to release three in a row. I am simply designing the rest of the series for potential future development by the quest sub-team. If and when they get developed and released is not something to consider at this point, it's just a Game Jam project, not a guaranteed update (like everything in any of our jams).

Why not make the elemental workshop armor the magic masterwork? If you require (not 600 of each, christ) some of all elemental bars to make the magic masterwork and require the soul armor to be made kind of like how Elder rune+5 is required for MW, it would fill in that niche.

I would rather leave that possibility for a potential future rework of other skills in a similar way to how Mining/Smithing was handled.

The RS wiki notes the refresh days for each category of buyer. Log in on the appropriate day to roll a new buyer/contract, based on either what you have asked Granny to advertise, or what is in your pens if you've not asked her to do that.
