The popularity on Twitch came at a bit of an unfortunate time. We have scheduled updates for the game on the first Thursday of every month which comes with a map wipe. Some servers wipe more often (their own choice) but it has been like this for years.

There will be no wipe until February 4th and we will be looking into adding a wipe countdown somewhere in-game.

However, wipes are a somewhat necessary part of the game to prevent groups of players from achieving total server domination. It's not for everyone but you will likely lose your base to a raid before wipe time anyway.

If you don't care about the streamer then you shouldn't want their skins.

Easiest way is to just not update the server or your game on Steam. Other methods are not guaranteed to work.

There are no legit gambling websites. All scam you in one way or another.

This one pops up under several different names all the time and is definitely a scam.

they arent responsible for any of this, i havent even seen them mentioned in this event and i only see one person from this unknown "egoland" "group".

OTV is the big name here.
They weren't really first but they are definitely a significant chunk of this. AuronP... Read more

He's on earlier in the day usually. Timezones. Can't expect everyone to do 24/7 streaming.

If it's lilypichu then you will need to watch a bit more to claim it. We reduced the time required and Twitch broke a little bit.

This is just a Steam thing. It's technically possible to combine the stacks but it's not automatic - Rust does not auto-stack items, so it's a bit stuck like that unfortunately.

There's a button to check for missing drops here: https://twitch.facepunch.com/ (you need to sign in and have your accounts linked to see it)

no offense, but that they dont talk about contracts or incentives is obvious and they will always deny it. Thats why twitch also keeps it a secret that popular streamers have a special menu where they can see for what games they get how much money, if they play it.
so cute, calling someone ignorant because he is not naive. ok.
It's not really a secret when there's public information posted about it: https://help.twitch.tv/s/article/bounty-board-program-inform... Read more

Twitch got back to us. Due to some implementation details on Twitch's side you will need to watch lilypichu for at least one more minute and then you will be able to claim the reward. Hopefully they make this better in the future. Thank you!

Exactly, there was no deal made with any of them so they just stream when they feel like it. There's several days left to get the drops you want.

We'll bring this up with Twitch. Can you share your Twitch profile?

Adding onto this, family sharing previously worked but does not anymore due to previous abuse.

Originally posted by Bowie: Anyone know if those drops "expire" and will desapear from the inventory at some point? I read something like that on the rust website about workshop items.
Steam items never expire.

You probably read something about the Rust item store which lets you purchase skins. The items there also last forever but can only be purchased for a week.

You can send yourself missed drops using the button on twitch.facepunch.com. You will need to sign in first.

6 drops did not come
Unfortunately we are no longer sending drops to family shared accounts. You will need to own Rust on Steam to receive drops.

We had to restrict family sharing due to people abusing the system with the previous drops.

If some drops were not sent to you successfully then you can request for them to be sent on twitch.facepunch.com. Just sign in with your Twitch or Steam account and there will be a button for it.

As mentioned on the FAQ, you need to own Rust on Steam to get drops. Family shared account do not receive drops. You can link your Twitch to an account that does own Rust and receive them there.
