Can confirm that MIDI software will not get you a game ban. Unless you use a cheat with MIDI software built in. The ban will stay.

There are a few Linux-oriented servers around that do not have EAC enabled. You'll need to search around to find them as the in-game server browser doesn't help a ton with this.

This post is even funnier when you know that OP has been banned on multiple other accounts before. For cheating, of course.

Please do post your brother's SteamID though. I can check it out for you.

Does the pairing request show up in your notification history? Tap on the bell icon on the top-right of the Rust+ app.

You can already sort servers by ping, player count, etc.

Options:
1. Don't update the server and have players not update their game.
2. Rename your server save files from the old version to the new one. Example: proceduralmap.4250.145905989.202.sav -> proceduralmap.4250.145905989.203.sav (changed 202 to 203). You'll need to do it for sv.files.202.db and player.states.202.db as well. No promises this wont break things.

Wipes keep things fresh and are very necessary sometimes due to changes made in the update.
