You made the mistake of assuming they'll be added into the game and never added onto in the future. What you see is not final and will be extended in future updates.

You don't meet the minimum requirements for the game. You need more than 8GB of RAM.

The save button just updates the sign without closing the painting UI. There's no way to save/load paintings to your PC.

We wanted to but it could be abused to reveal the IP addresses of players.

This is probably true. However what happens if one of the participating streamers is 1. not streaming or 2. streaming a different game? They get bombarded with demands to play Rust - this is highly unacceptable.

If you want to get all the drops so badly why don't you pay closer attention to when they start streaming so you can get them all? They've all streamed more than enough for people to get all of the drops after 3 days or less.

Refunds are handled entirely by Steam. It should be possible to get a refund still but it will be harder. Please remember to review the minimum requirements when buying games in the future.

More like people shouldn't be complaining that they didn't get a streamer skin when they aren't even a fan of the streamer. Maybe the streamers would be more willing to play Rust if they weren't constantly being harassed by people who just want the skin and wont stick around.

We already set minimum requirements for streamers before they even have a skin created and we do handle it if they are not met.

You're right, we should revert the AI so animals are back to being hopeless meat lootbags.

It was removed due to security concerns. People could have entered a malicious URL which leaked player IPs. Imagine automatically DDoSing attackers to defend your base. Or possibly much worse.

Actually Steam does do some stuff to try and prevent this from happening, such as region locking etc.

I'd say its cheaper and more common to see cheaters on stolen accounts instead. People set up phishing websites disguised as skin gambling, giveaways, or Twitch drops and trick people into giving away their Steam password and Steam Guard code. This is enough to take control of the account to play games on.

enable your paging file and leave it set to be managed by windows.
This, but nothing is specifically coded to only work with a pagefile. That's a transparent process within the operating system which lets it use RAM for things that are necessary.

1. We don't sell anywhere but Steam anymore. No Steam keys.
2. Wherever you got this key, you will need to take it up with them. Don't give it to anyone else.

Set all settings to low
set resolution to 720
set your nvidia panel to Prefer max performance
( you might be able to set the graphics slider to 2 or 3 and lower the other options and still get your 50 - 60fps fine )

you should be able to run it fine with a solid 45 - 60fps with enjoyable experience.
also depending on the server also.

(if you get 16gb RAM, youll see much shorter loading times and a smallll FPS gain also since it wont be constantly paging/choking for RAM swap)

Optional: Overclock that GT 1030 by 240...

Long streams like that are unsustainable. Streamers need sleep and need to do other things too.

We don't want streamers to get burned out of Rust and we definitely don't want them to be forced to play Rust when they aren't feeling like it. However, we of course have some minimum expectations from streamers (both in total hours streamed and occurrences).

200,000 people got their drops - not sure how since apparently they were barely online?

There's no way a streamer can adjust their schedule to suit every single Rust player. Between timezones, sleep, personal life, work schedules, etc. You will need to compromise - it's easy to get notifications when someone starts streaming.
