Not the news we were hoping for, but at least we did get the video and still got the teaser yesterday. I'm liking the new more frequent updates and transparency, so here's hoping they keep it up.

we should have a better online presence now that the holiday season is over and we have Snutt now too. So hopefully we'll have teaserd/info whenever any is available or if there is none then some form of entertainment/interaction with y'all.

There entire main design person gone There entire level builder gone One if there CMs gone An entire developer (This is from as far as we know how there teams are split) Who knows what else.
In one man devs games, the one person is capable for everything, so the design team can’t go on holiday and their workpower is cut in half.
Also, because it is an EXCLUSIVE with epic, CSS most likely has a minimum period between (major) updates.
In their latest video , they confirmed that they spend near to an entire week play testing each version. That means that if they find a major issue during testing, they have to; Figure out the cause of the issue, Fix the cause, See if the bug is still happening, Play test, Repeat.

just a couple clarifications:
1) dedicated servers and update 3 are not tied together on a production line. dedicated servers will not come with update 3, unfortunately.
2) this will be our 3rd *major* update in a year! :D we've also had smaller updates that also added content to the game in between.

Wow. Thanks for an honest reply, looks like they are new developers just figuring out what they are doing. But the community surrounding this game is the most toxic I have seen in a long time. I definitely won't be buying this game.

How about just posting text updates. Or text in addition to the video. 2 rambling minutes to say "no updates" is annoying.
