Yeah, I think the answer to your question is "no, they cannot". At this point, they probably have a cogent idea when it'll go experimental, but given the scope and depth of the changes, determining when it will be ready for Early Access requires more oracular precognition than any of us are blessed with.

Even guessing when it'll be definitely ready for experimental is tough, because if Jace finds a serious bug 30 minutes before release, it won't release. That's unlikely, because finding a bug requires work and that doesn't sound like something /u/JaceAtCoffeeStain would do, but anything is possible.

hey what

but lets be real, if there is a bug it wont be me finding it

I GOT JACE'S ATENTION, I feel so accomplished.

Also think il take the time to say that satisfactory is a fantastic game and I have around 120 hours on my first save and just finished nuclear. It has been a wild ride and I cant wait for the many updates to come.

Thanks for all the hard work you and the dev team do.

True, I meant resources in the broadest man-hours sense. I mean for how excellent and beautiful the video was the people that made it could have been working on other game assets.

If they really enjoyed putting it together as a team and it was a "fun" thing to do for the fans cool, but I care more about the game than memes.

no developer in the studio spent time on the video apart from me (i don't develop the game), a sound guy from a different branch of Coffee Stain, and a producer. so no dev time - or potential dev time - was lost!

i ask myself the same question every day.
