Hey SMITE fans!As most of you are probably aware, the COVID-19 Omicron variant is raging here in the US right now. As I write this, the state of Georgia has 1.4 million confirmed cases since December 20, and it’s just getting worse.

These numbers are pretty concerning with worlds just a day away. Internally we’ve been taking every measure possible to ensure that we can pull off an in-studio SWC while protecting the health & safety of our staff – including stringent testing protocols, updated studio safety protocols, and etc. But before we kick off the event, I did want to touch base with our fans about what to expect from this year’s SWC.

Our #1 goal is to ...

The fact that this behavior is only known because it resulted (indirectly or not) in a ban is problematic.

There is no question in mind that that clip wasn't representative of how any Smite player should act, let alone Olympians. I understand that frustration is a key element when playing Multiplayer games, but it is irresponsible and unfair to add to toxicity due to own, personal frustration. I'm sure that every member of the Olympian team is hardworking and dedicated to what they do, but just being an Olympian shouldn't give you a buffer for breaking Smite ToS. Ironically, by calling out another player that decided to fight back that, the streamer in question called out her behavior as well.

At the end of the day, this is something that shouldn't have happened in the first place. No streamer should be allowed to be flat-out toxic, no matter the way their teammates/opponents are. You're playing a game, and you can't change other people's behavior but you can decide...

No idea, I don't control who reports and who doesn't. But since you pointed them out I'll gladly remove them.

Once again, we have megathreads designed for exactly that. Please follow the rules, there's a reason why it's the way they are.

But its not a concept for a skin. Im suggesting who should be who.

If it was a skin, don't you think I would try to describe instead?

You're suggesting "who should be who" or which god should get which skin. That in itself is a skin suggestion, and skin suggestions (or in other words concepts) need OC artwork.

Look, we get like 20 same posts a day with same rehashed ideas. We have megathereads biweekly where you can post skin concepts like these under without any artwork, so you can post there. Having separate posts every time someone thinks up of something "original" just spams the sub

EDIT: That rule was added because people on this sub were annoyed with the spam. This post was literally reported as such.

Its not a skin concept tho.

You're suggesting skins. It's a concept for a skin. The rule is there to filter out posts like these.
