I've heard several reports of this and I really want to get to the bottom of it.F or anyone in this comment thread, giving me as much details and info as possible could be helpful. Like... when you disconnected and rejoined, had the host played any days without you? How many people are playing on the farm? Did you start the game with separate money or did you change partway through by going to the mayor? Any more relevant info you can think of is helpful too. thank you & sorry for any inconvenience this bug has caused
Okay it's confirmed that this bug happens when the host is on a mac (or linux). There will be a fix for this in the patch that is coming soon. In the meantime there's no way around it except to host the game on a windows machine

I'm playing the four corners map with my friend on the new 1.4 update. She is hosting, and I'm joining the online farm. We are playing with separate gold, and each time I exit the game and we re-start our session, I revert to 500G. It doesn't matter if I am over or under that number, whenever I reboot the game to start another online session, my gold reverts to 500G. No mods.
So be careful, I guess.

I have got werid bug, I play on my old save file, that i was playing on 1.3, my wife is Abigail, and when she go to sleep she's just a black square
Do you have a mod that replaces the character sprite textures? If so, that's why.. if not, and you're playing on steam, please right click the game in the library > properties > local files > verify integrity of game files
My game keeps crashing when I put the lava eel into the fish pond . After having repeated the day twice to have it crash I thought I'd test my theory. Only put the lava eel into the pond , slept and crashed. I basically end my day, sleep and it crashes before saving. It's my 3rd pond with my other 2 with different types of fish being fine. Anyone else have this problem?

Read moreI use mods but i took off all the outfit mods since all of the outfit mods dont work anymore due to the update but since i deleted them the bug is still there.
I put in the old original stardew valley outfits and that reverted alll cosmetic mods i had to the original game files but it still looks bugged

Okay so I do think this is the result of modding. Putting the old stardew valley outfits from 1.3 back wouldn't work because the pants and shirts textures have gotten a lot bigger. You'll need the new 1.4 files. I'm not exactly sure how to deal with modding stuff but I'd guess maybe uninstalling your mods, then verifying the integrity of your game files as I described above, and the re-installing any mods that are 1.4-compatible should work.
BUG REPORT
Playing 4 corners farm in multiplayer, non host player losing gold earned. One day i quit with over 3000g to rejoin with 7g. Today, rejoined to 500g after leaving with 2630g. Edit: playing on steam pc. Language is in English.

Thank you, this will definitely need to be fixed. There's a bug-fix patch in the works right now and should be out within the next few days, or maybe early next week.
Hi!!! I found the files, the saves were blank but the _old saves were intact and I got it working now! Sorry I'm not experienced at all with moving files before today and that I asked for help when I managed to fix it on my own 😝

Are you using any mods? If you have a mod that replaces the shirt texture that would cause problems if the mod hasn't been updated for 1.4. If you aren't using any mods, please try verifying the integrity of your game files. (right click Stardew Valley in the steam library > properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files...)

Encountered a bug/crash with the new Trash Bear cut-scene.
Finished giving Trash Bear all requested items on day of Fall Spirits Eve Festival (Fall 27). >! Got cut-scene: Beach cleaned up, Trash Bear flew away with umbrella. Instead of the doghouse scene, !<got the "festival is being set up, come back later" message. Then game crashed/exited.
PC. Windows 10. No mods. Single player. English.
Confirmed, and will be fixed (averted) in the upcoming patch

Cannot use the golden scythe on amaranths. I didn’t try any other crop that is harvested with a scythe, but when using a golden scythe on amaranths it says you need a scythe to harvest said crop. It does work fine on grass.
Okay I've confirmed this and it will be fixed in a patch soon. In the meantime if you stand a little father away and swing your scythe without clicking on the crop itself it will successfully harvest it

hey so, i've been having performance issues since updating to 1.4. the game was performing fine prior to updating.
the game basically stutters every few moments, causing a very visible lag, like the framerate just drops to 0 for a full second, before resuming to normal. i've attempted to reinstall XNA and reinstall the game like some sites recommended to no avail. i really want to enjoy the update but this makes it almost impossible to! does anybody have any advice for what i could do to fix it?
Hey... could you try toggling Vsync? The option is located in the options tab in the in-game menu. playing in true fullscreen mode can also help with performance. Please let me know if anything helps
The game now crashes every time I try to load one particular save. The other saves work just fine, this problem is confined to one: I'll choose it from the opening screen, the loading screen will freeze for a moment, then the entire game closes.
When I check the error files, I get the "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" message. Could anyone give me some insight on how to fix this?

Missing save files
I had 2 save files, one on year 4 winter and one year 2 summer where I can't find them in the "load game" tab
I updated the game yesterday and have been loving the update but this morning when I went to the load game menu off of the start screen my year 4 file that I played last night
I shrugged it off and started playing my other save and I closed the game after a while and just now when I opened the game, that file was missing too, but my other files that I haven't opened are still there
Has anyone else experienced this? Are my files gone forever? I never deleted the saves and I clicked the quit to desktop button off of the paus menu to close the game before shutting down my laptop, I'll give any more information that will help

I’m absolutely loving the new update, but I’ve noticed a bug. I started a new save file and got to the mines. Upon entering for the first time, Marcel is supposed to be there to give you a sword, however he isn’t there. Trying to interact with the ladder crashes the game. Has this happened to anyone else? I don’t have any mods installed or anything that could change the game files.
I haven't heard of this happening to anyone else, so it might be due to some rare alignment of factors, or a hardware problem. Couple things... what language are you playing in? Are you on steam? if so, try right clicking the game in your library > properties > local files > verify integrity of game files... Also, if you could send me your error log (if there's more than one please make sure you send the one that lines up with the time the crash occured) located in %appdata%/StardewValley/ErrorLogs . You can DM me the error log. Thank you!
