With the "Ancient Relics Story Pack" we'll let you acquire many unique artifacts, scattered across the galaxy.
The Rubricator is a replicating device, built with mysterious technology. :)
The Relic system will be fully realized in the "Ancient Relics" DLC, but is also a part of the 2.3 update! Each Crisis gives you one relic and so do other DLCs, like Leviathans, Apocalypse, MegaCorp etc. :)
The Relic system is also fully moddable with just the 2.3 patch!
In the Ancient Relics Story Pack and the 2.3 update, if you conquer an archaeological dig site from another empire, you can pick off where that empire left.
You can read the previous story chapters and get the final results, be they good or bad.
