Howdy Holotable Heroes,

The 1-year mark for Commander Ahsoka Tano in Galactic Conquest is here! Much like Razor Crest, she will be moving out of the mode and relocated to a brand new game Event!

Where will she go?

Commander Ashoka Tano will be heading to a new Event called “Proving Grounds.” This Event will have a monthly cadence and will allow you to earn her shards for FREE, so long as you have the prerequisite to enter.

Requirements:

• Must not already own the unit at 7*
• Must not already own enough shards to 7* the unit
  
• Once you obtain the unit at 7* or have enough shards to 7* the unit, they will no longer be accessible.
  This is not meant to be a source for Shard Shop Currency, this is an opportunity to get characters that were once exclusive to Conquest.

Dash Rendar’s ship, the Outrider, is docking with the holotables! As a heavily modified YT-2400 light freighter, the Outrider was a top-notch smuggling vessel and (according to Dash himself) almost as famous as the Millennium Falcon.

The Outrider deals multiple instances of damage with its Illegal Laser Cannons Basic and Concealed Concussion Missiles Special abilities. In addition to damage, the Outrider can inflict enemies with Critical Damage Down and Target Lock, as well as dispel buffs and reduce Defense. Outrider lifts its allies by doling out Health and Protection Recovery, Speed Up, Tenacity Up, and Turn Meter, and dispelling debuffs.

Outrider introduces the new Suprosa Supercomputer effect and the new Data Transmission granted ability, which together provides Rebels allies with powerful bonuses based on their role.

The Outrider, Dash Rendar's YT-2400 freighter, will soon be coming to the holotables and will lift Home One fleets. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this ship, it was originally introduced in Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire on Nintendo 64 on December 3, 1996, and later for Windows on September 17, 1997.

We have released a small hotfiix to address the issue that was causing the game to get stuck loading while loading into certain Fleet Battles in Territory Wars or Grand Arena Championships.

FIXES

• Game will no longer enter an infinite loading state when attempting to re-battle an opponent fleet in Territory Wars or Grand Arena Championships after destroying the enemy capital ship and all but one ship.

We are aware of an issue that can cause the game to get stuck loading into fleet battles while in Territory Wars. The team is currently investigating the cause of this issue and are working to fix this as soon as possible.

Sign Up and Lock at Any Time
Players can now re-lock their roster at any time during the Sign Up Phase to update their GAC squads with the latest upgrades and mods. No more waiting until the last minute to sign up and lock your best roster!

Edit Defenses Tool
Players can now set their Defenses at any time before the Setup Phase finishes. You can even set them before a Grand Arena begins. The squads you set in the Defense Tool are stored between events as well so you only have to set your Defenses once and then update them as you get new units and upgrade your characters. Our latest Title Update has begun to roll out! All players will be required to update tomorrow from their respective app stores but you check to see if you can download the latest version to get the changes below. This Update contains a number of quality of life changes for Grand Arena Championships and several bug fixes.

The majority of the changes will be visible tomorrow (and will be detailed in tomorrow's notes) after the Forced Update but you may see some of the following changes if you update before then.

Enemy Fleet Preview

We have released a hotfix to address the incorrect reward for the current Galactic Challenge. One of the slicing materials was accidently swapped with a placeholder item. You will see the correct reward in game now and will be rewarded correctly if you earn this tier of Challenge Crate.

I am pleased to announce that CG_Tusken_Meathead will be temporarily joining the SWGOH Community team as Senior Community Manager while we continue to work on filling the big shoes that CG_Doja_Fett left (and in addition to several other team member’s stepping up to help me out when I go on paternity in the near future, Meathead will be assisting with a couple of my responsibilities as well). He will be covering many of the Community Manager roles that Doja presides over and can be found on our usual community channels like the Forums, Discord, and maybe even a few livestreams.

While he is new to the team, Meathead is not new to Galaxy of Heroes and originally got me into the game before I joined Capital Games. His many years of experience as a Community Manager and knowledge of the game will help him hit the ground running quickly. After this season of Grand Arena Championships, the Kyber League will require 1 additional Fleet on Defense for a total of 3 Fleet Defenses. Banner and point thresholds in Kyber will be adjusted to account for this change.

When I was first brought on to the Community team as Doja Fett, I wrote an introductory post explaining that I was “extremely honored and optimistically excited to be welcomed into the EA family and, particularly, the passionate SWGoH community.”
