Hey all!

We did receive reports about this and the team did some digging. There was an issue for some players being unable to redeem the code (even if they didn't have the deco). Issue has now been fixed. So if you haven't been able to get the deco yet, make sure you redeem that code before May 16th!

We received reports that some players have been unable to redeem code "MalgusWhen" for the Darth Malgus poster deco. This should be fixed now, so we encourage any player who was unable to redeem the deco to try again and make sure to use the code by May 16th! 

*As a reminder, this is only redeemable if you do not currently have the deco*

We just kicked out a new PTS build for you all to check out! Below are items that we are tracking based on your feedback. 

Basilisk Prototype Venture - Fixes

• Updated task descriptions on the Venture screen to make objectives clearer.
• The Iokath bonus mission for B3-S1 training now refers to completing the World Boss instead of a Heroic Mission.
• Corrected some instances where B3-S1 appeared in Lane's Lab while she was active as a companion.
• Changed requirements for progression steps that required players to use B3-S1's abilities. These steps should now count the use of any of that role's abilities.
• Added a 'Training Reminder' mission to remind players to use another training module while completing the introduction mission.
• Missions like Unconventional Methods on Ruhnuk, where you control a droid or other entity, may not work as in...

The PTS is open again. We would like to hear from players who were having issues with starting the Venture system and if they can confirm if they are able to or not able to begin the Venture.

Giving you all a heads up that we will be bouncing the Public Test Server within the next 15 minutes or so to deploy a potential fix that players are seeing with beginning the Basilisk Prototype Venture System.

Adding another note that I've added to the OP. If you open your Legacy window, you can navigate to Ventures to view your progress and objectives! 

Unlocking this thread so we can get some reports in. The team would like to know what happens when you log out of the PTS and back in again. We tested characters and saw the necessary Achievements register, so we could begin the missions.

Update: On the fleet, I see a second news terminal, but I am ineligible for the conversation.

 

Update x2: I figured it out - there is a second area on the Dantooine planet map to select. If you are like me, make sure you select "Blba Groves" from the galaxy map for Dantooine.

The PTS environment is not the same as the live or dev environments. If you're familiar with PTS iterations, there are instances where, as examples, terminals are conveniently placed to give gear to players or transport them to where they need to be. That is not natural game progress. Regarding this intro mission for the Venture System, this scenario would not be experienced on the live environment because this starting point is set up differently and specifically for PTS. 

That said, I will reiterate that the team is investigating. For now, locking this thread. Once we get a pathway opened up for players, I will unlock this thread, so players can answer the feedback questions.
