Hello everyone, 

We will be deploying Game Update 7.3.1b tomorrow, October 3rd. The following will be included in this patch:

• To improve the new player experience, all players can now sprint at Level 1
• Speeder piloting is now  working as intended on the K-NorCo B5C mount.
• Improved Mounting will allow mounting the K-NorCo B5C while moving as intended.
• Companions will now appear when dismounting the K-NorCo B5C Mount.

The above is published on the patch notes page as well.

Hello, if Hylo Visz is missing, it could be due to an active chapter or story mission taking place in the phase and requiring her attention. You will need to complete that before Hylo returns to her spot.

Jumping in here to say that we appreciate the love for all of our companion characters. It's both a gift and a challenge to have so many well-loved companions in SWTOR, and I understand how special that connection can be to your personal story.

Our goal with each story update is to bring in characters that feel appropriate to the setting. And whenever a favorite character returns, we want to make sure we have bandwidth to give them a personal moment for growth and relationship development. Above all else I never want to include a character that feels shoe-horned in, or whose interactions feel shallow because we didn't have capacity to give them more. It's very important to us to make these companion interactions memorable.

It's true Vette in particular hasn't been present in the story for a while, but that doesn't mean she won't be part of our future plans. Just know that when she is part of the story, it will be a moment that we're deeply passionate abo...

Ok so first, I super appreciate the enthusiasm in the thread. We always love to hear where folks' heads are at for suggestions or ideas on places to improve the game.

Now, with that said, as much as I wish your suggestions were “quite inexpensive” or required “a little more time” that is unfortunately not true. I am hoping though that I can shed some light on exactly why that is the case since very often in software (game) development very few things are fast or inexpensive.

Let me give you an example in each of your categories to be a bit more illustrative.

Adding the following to the known issues list for the Mousecapades Galactic Seasons objective. 

• Imperial characters using male body type 3 are getting stuck at the spawn location of the mouse droid. 
  • Workaround: The objective can be completed in the Rishi Cantina.

There isn't an update to share at this time outside what we have said in the past, however, I can provide a little more insight into what's happening behind the scenes right now. As you all know already, we're currently focusing on migrating the live servers over to the cloud. After today, we will have successfully accomplished this task. Our next steps are migrating more services and tools over in similar fashion. Being able to migrate everything over is vital to the health of the game which translates to better a player experience. All that to say that we need to do all of this before we can look at opening up servers in new regions. So for right now, we do not have additi...

Clearing up a misconception here! This is a community run event, and it is one that is now entering its third year. The frames were done and built in the first year so the only lifting done on the team each following year is adding the winning shots to the event vendor. Essentially, that makes it so there's little impact on the design team and the heavier lifting is on the community team. So this is a fun project that community owns and the way the contest was built allows for others team to focus on things such as creating new content, polishing current content, and/or reviewing and fix bugs.
