I was not expecting balance changes, especially this early on. I'm not complaining - I don't think this nerf affects this particular ability too much due to it's specific utility, but I'm genuinely curious on the reasoning why Tsunami got nerfed.

Out of curiosity (and I understand that this could be considered a tall order but...), could I request patch note balance changes have a very small explanation on why they occured? This gives the players an understanding of the Dev's perspective on why it was nerfed as well as helps us with documentation. Even something as simple as "Tsunami was shown to be a little too dominating, so we're trimming some fat from the skill" or something similar would suffice; I just like understanding the perspective from the developers point of view for stuff like this.

IMPROVEMENTS
  • Using a Medicine item is now improved, and will show which Temtem are able to receive the item.
  • Medicine item usage now sounds in battle.

FIXES
  • Fixed some cases where Temtem didn't disappear when being knocked-out.
  • Fixed some more cases where the Luma particles didn't render properly.
  • Learning a Course will now get you back to the Backpack.

BALANCE
  • Tsunami Stamina cost decreased from 26 to 25.
  • Tsunami Damage decreased from 80 to 70.
  • Tsunami Synergy Damage decreased from 90 to 80.

NEW STUFF
  • Luma Fomu and Wiplump are now available. So cute!
  • Added animations, effects, and audio to swapping Temtem.
  • Added a confirmation popup when releasing a Temtem or quitting the game.
  • Added a new jingle at the end of battles.

IMPROVEMENTS
  • You can now rotate the character on the Character Creation!
  • You can now change and preview all the animations for each style on the Character Creation!
  • More improvements on Battle pacing and timings.
  • More improvements on how Mouse and Keyboard work together.
  • Improved how the text typing sound works. It now pauses when the text pauses or ends and it's better timed.
  • Improved Max and Lady Lottie cinematics in order to play the correct music.

FIXES
  • Fixed wrong camera position while capturing a Temtem in a dual battle....

NEW STUFF
  • Luma Tateru is now available. Happy hunting!
  • Added animations, effects, and audio to the capture Temtem sequence.
  • Added some rewards in Turquesa for players that have completed the Alpha.
  • Stat stages changes in battle now have proper audio.
  • Temtem knock-outs now have proper audio.

IMPROVEMENTS
  • Temtem sprites are now prettier and have better lighting and shadows.
  • Improved Loading image to remove banding.
  • While creating a new character, the animation won't reset while choosing different cosmetics.
  • Knocked-out particles on Temtem now will travel to its tamer.
  • Opening the Backpack in a Wild battle will open the Capture bag by default. Opening it on a Tamer battle will open the Medicine bag instead.
