Haven’t watched the video but the discussion about this is getting very tiring already. I don’t know why people feel the need to call a game dead or not tbh.
No, Temtem is not dead. There are several thousands of people playing the game on a weekly basis (no one seems to understand this and everyone thinks that the steamcharts data is the actual number of players a game has). And this number is actually much higher than what we expected to have by now, we already knew the Early Access was going to take long (not as long, but the game grew a lot since then).
The goal of the game has never been to retain the maximum amount of players. We know that a huge part of the community wants to play the story and that’s all, that’s fine, we build the game with a lot of different communities in mind.
