I can't comment on the forums access I'm afraid. That's not something I'm working with at all so I have no idea how access to that is meant to work :P
Hey Cain I uninstalled the private beta. Is it possible to resintall if i have been invited?
Yep, if you got an invite the game will be showing up in your Uplay library hopefully very soon and then you can download it just like any other game.

Cain from the Uplay team here. I am the one responsible for making sure you have you game in your library (Providing you have been invited of course). Unfortunately, pushing the games out to those invited is taking a liiiiitle longer than expected but they are slowly but surely making their way out there.
I'm estimating at the current rate that it show up in less than 2 hours (Depending on how lucky you are) so keep your eyes peeled for the game showing up in your libraries.

Different builds. You would have to redownload everything. Just like beta installs don't work with full game releases
Technically every time you update most modern games you're getting a different build to a degree. It's rare for games these days to do typical "patching". Most modifications are to existing core data as opposed to additional data, at least outside of content updates.
The difference in applications like Uplay, Steam, etc. is what Repos and Game/App IDs the product is tied to. In this case the upcoming test will be using the same Game ID as the Private Beta (Alpha, Previous Tech Tests, etc.). We compare the build (files) you have on your machine and then diff them to find what has changed and what needs updating. In essence you'll just patch the Private Beta files if you still have them... (/u/nethfel was on the right train of thought)
