I'm afraid to say that the game has not be updated so probably the issue comes from STEAM cloud. Please, send me your corrupted files to [email protected] and please, to avoid this issue again if you play locally disable STEAM cloud. This tools brings along this kind of issues with a big amount of game in STEAM library.

Could you copy here the lines in your ZXLog when the game crashes? This file usually is in the path Documents/My Games/They are Billions. It's very important that you copy the lines in this file just after the crash and before launching the game again.

Radeon gpus sometime come with Radeon Software like Adrenalin or others. Some of these programs can even make that your game is not being launched. Check also this.

Faced that too. Nothing nor game itself changed. Anyway my notebook not so powerful, but game work faster previously. And for me it is problem in Steam\Steam Overlay. Not sure about your case. Try close Steam and start Steam+game from recreated desktop link (steam started silently in sys.tray).

The question of saving system has been answered and disccused several times, the iron man mode is not going to be questioned again.

Regarding the updates, we have already said several times that the game is finished so apart from a Map Editor Update and polishing some issues the game will not be touched more.

Please, use search tool in the forum to avoid repeated questions and topics.

The game has the option "save and exit" that allows you to continue in other moment the mission or map that you are playing. Also you have another save option in the campaing map screen where you can do backups of your progression in the campaign that allows you to change the choice in the technology tree and saves your way in the campaign.

Check if your antivirus or firewall is blocking a proper autosave due to a block of the game permissions.

Also if you got your campaign data saved corrupted send me your corrupted saved games files to [email protected], I will try to fix them. My suggestion is that if you are playing locally, it would be better if you disable your STEAM cloud. This tool doen't work fine with a big amoung of games in STEAM library.
