The log just cuts off I'm afraid. Most likely it's too long for zerobin. We aren't able to provide support here on Steam, so I recommend you make a thread on the official support forums here:

https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/forums/support-bug-reports.879/

You can attach the log as a file, so lenght won't matter. That's the best way for us to have a look at what's happening.

When using the editors it's best to disable any mods you don't absolutely need. If you don't need any, you can easily do that by using the -disableMods launch option.

Most mods were made for the simulation that happens in a city and that can cause issues in the editor. So best to not use them if you don't have to.

For figuring out how a mod like Building Variations works I recommend checking out the mod description. There's usually an explanation of how it works and how to use it. :)

Alright, let's just keep a civil tone here everyone! Everyone's entitled to their opinions on DLCs (including CCPs). :)

Modern Japan doesn't come with growable buildings, so you can't set it as a district style.

University City has growables but not a style included. There is a Building Theme on the workshop for it if you want to control where they spawn.

Where are you looking for the buildings? They should appear in their own special category at the very end. Modern Japan has some Unique Buildings and some Service buildings. Check both of those to see if they have the Modder tab at the very end. Here's a pic of what you're looking for:

Do they show as owned on the list on the left when looking at the main menu of the game?

It's an incompatibility between Node Controller 3 and Surface Painter. Good to know that unsub/resub of Surface Painter did the trick!

We'll need to have a look at the game's logs then. Steam unfortunately isn't useful for this, so you will need to make a thread on the official support forum here:

This should have minimal impact on Cities: Skylines, as the game isn't really affected by whether or not you are logged in to your PDX account. For us mods and assets are handled through Steam, so it's really just the Paradox Plaza park asset that might act up. And of course the forum will be unavailable for a while.

On the main menu of the game, does it show as owned on the list of DLCs on the left? If it does, then you are looking for this icon. The CCPs have their own little submenus, so all the assets are in one place. For Train Stations you will see this one under Public Transport, all the way to the right, next to the hubs.

Assets (meaning buildings, props, trees, vehicles, etc) only very rarely need to be updated. Exceptions are of course assets that rely on a mod, that might become outdated or break.

For mods I recommend checking this community list of known broken and incompatible mods. It's a great resource to avoid broken mods and find replacements for the ones that are no longer updated.

It's worth noting that there's a separate autosave option for the editors, found in the same place in Options.

To easily find the missing dependencies you can use the Loading Screen Mod's report option (found in Options). Or you can add the number of the name to the end of this URL, since that's the SteamId number.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=

For the first one you just add 816325876 to the URL and it gets you this:

How far into the game do you get? Do you see the Paradox Launcher? Do you get to the main menu of the game? Can you start a new city? And do you use any custom workshop content?

Which DLCs do you have? Are they all missing or just some? Are they enabled in the list when you check through Steam, but do not show as own in-game on the main menu?

This is what I got when using the Loading Screen Mod

Is that also the case with Save Or Saves enabled as well as the Safe Mode options from the Loading Screen Mod?

Strange! The link I posted takes me to the correct place, where yours lands me at the CS general forum.

My guess is you have an outdated mod that's messing with things. Check your mods against this list of known broken and incompatible mods and get replacements where available.

That's completely expected and how things should be. RAM is much faster than using the pagefile and needed for certain things. The pagefile is "makeshift RAM" and used to "park" some things that are lower priority. The ideal situation is to have enough RAM to not really need the pagefile.
