Hey @mafia18899,

I have good news that this isn't actually a bug! In Season 14, Respawn increased the level cap again. So when you hit level 500, you're reset back down to 1 and you go up a tier instead. There are three tiers to climb with 500 levels each, for a total of 2,000 levels. You can also earn more packs by levelling up now. Our website has a bit more information:

Hey @scitzo,

The developers are actually working on cross-progression, and have been for a while. There's still no ETA yet, but it's in the works.

Hey @apexleotur10,

Unfortunately there is no cross-progression in Apex Legends. So if you switch from PlayStation to Xbox, all your skins and such won't carry over. They're still there on your PlayStation. Unfortunately as of right now there's no way to transfer them over.

@The-walker2008,

There isn't a way that you can delete your account by yourself, you need to get an advisor to delete your account for you. Although if you're having trouble reaching one of them, then I believe our social team on Twitter can help you delete it too:

@The-walker2008,

Ah, right, sorry.

Yes, if you delete your account, you can then use the email address on that account to make a new one. I slightly lost track of the original question, I'm very sorry.

Hey @The-walker2008,

I'm a little confused as to what the issue is. So you've unlinked your EA account from your PlayStation account, and now you want to delete your EA account so you can make it again and link a new PlayStation account to it?

Can I ask why you want to do that since unlinking and deleting your account also deletes all your progress? Would it not be easier to make a new EA account and link your PlayStation account to that?

Hey @PlSTOLSKlN,

If I'm not mistaken, a headshot is yellow numbers with a red outline, and a gold armour hit is white numbers with a yellow outline. The difference can be a little subtle in the heat of a fight.

I know that Apex has three colour blind options built in. I don't suppose they help make it clearer?

@naebex,

If you've hit level 500 already, and then hit level 501, you'll be in tier 1. Everyone who hasn't hit 500 yet will still be in tier 0, at whatever level they are.

@naebex,

I haven't managed to hit it myself yet (And likely won't for a while), but your level icon will change colour (I believe it'll become greenish for tier 1), and it'll take 18k experience per level.

Hey @naebex,

Every time you surpass level 500, your level goes back down and you enter a new tier. So you're effectively level 550, for level 50 tier 1. It's mentioned in the patch notes here:

https://www.ea.com/games/apex-legends/news/hunted-patch-notes?isLocalized=true

The maximum level cap has been raised to level 500 tier 3, or 2,000 if you will.

@StealinYoDad,

Unfortunately unlinking an account that you play Apex on can have a host of side effects.

"If you unlink a platform account that you use to play Apex Legends, you may have issues with Battle Pass leveling, item unlocks, and other errors."

You could try relinking the old account to see if that gets you your progress back, but there's no guarantee that that will work.

Hey @StealinYoDad,

Unfortunately, as the disclaimer you got said, unlinking accounts causes you to lose all purchases, cosmetics, and progress on the unlinked account. You can try linking it back, but there's no guarantee that everything will be restored. That's why it's so important to be sure you understand the risks before you unlink, and why we share the disclaimer first.

Our EA Help article explains it quite well and has a specific warning for Apex Legends:
